[1.2.222] The Aran Race - IllegallySane - 2009-04-23 Kabanaw Wrote:When they say shield don't look too much into it. You know Holy Shield? Yeah, you don't need a shield for that to work. The point is it doesn't have to be a requirement, but at least make it an option for the new class to be able to equip shields. Mages are able to use shields, yet not all of them do. However, they still get "shieldesque" skills like Magic Guard because part of their option of equipment is, case in point, a shield. Same for Warriors and Shadowers. They have shield related skills (I can go as far to say Meso Guard and Power Guard are shield-themed abilities because these classes can equip shields), but they don't HAVE to have shields. Again, I could just be nit-picky because the skill name is "Aegis Shield", and unless they change the name to someone like Thor's Resilience, I expect a class with shields as an option. [1.2.222] The Aran Race - 66alex66 - 2009-04-24 spadow said that Full Swing increases the damage by the percent given in the skill ex:-12 MP, Increases Double Attacks damage by 90% and you can attack twice. -20 MP, Increases Triple Attacks damage by 230%. seems like the only explanation of double attack's low percentage in the skill [1.2.222] The Aran Race - Fiel - 2009-04-24 IllegallySane Wrote:The point is it doesn't have to be a requirement, but at least make it an option for the new class to be able to equip shields. In order to have something like that, you'd have to create a whole new section in the WZ files. I don't think Nexon is going to do that. Instead, I believe they'll stick with the polearms they already have. [1.2.222] The Aran Race - Sylphior - 2009-04-26 any idea if there's gonna be other class types? like a mage/thief/archer/pirate type? [1.2.222] The Aran Race - Fiel - 2009-04-26 Sylphior Wrote:any idea if there's gonna be other class types? like a mage/thief/archer/pirate type? More than likely yes. However, I won't know for sure until KMST patches again. [1.2.222] The Aran Race - kirby756 - 2009-04-26 Fiel Wrote:More than likely yes. However, I won't know for sure until KMST patches again. Well it is called the Ahran race thought right? So they probably would have more then one class...? [1.2.222] The Aran Race - Melancholy - 2009-04-26 Assuming there are other classes coming along, I want a Buffer class. =) [1.2.222] The Aran Race - kirby756 - 2009-04-26 Melancholy Wrote:Assuming there are other classes coming along, I want a Buffer class. =) Agreed, we need more then one buffer.

And it would be damn hard to train, if it's focused more in buffs than attacks. [1.2.222] The Aran Race - 66alex66 - 2009-04-26 another bishop except with like a mace?
[1.2.222] The Aran Race - NightLuk - 2009-04-26 finally a buff that decreases dmg!!! I'm sure that will make Pink Been a lil' easier to fight due from 10k dmg it will deal 8k... will that buff includes magical dmg as well? so 20% reduced dmg would be almost like an invincible... hmm and maybe that reduced dmg buff stacks with invincible?
[1.2.222] The Aran Race - 66alex66 - 2009-04-27 i don't think nexon will make ahran an all warrior race because that would seem very unbalanced, so they would have to create 4 more races for the other classes, which is just too much work for the people who extend their patches for +3hrs almost all the time. The only buff worth mentioning is the Aegis Shield. Other buffs are the staples of any class like Booster, 4th job passives/buffs, etc. Otherwise, this Race/class is the equivalent of a warrior with ultimates. I still am curious just how much ownage could be reached with max Achilles, HB, Aegis, and PG. Or forgo the Achilles and PG and have Invincible and MG. [1.2.222] The Aran Race - Melancholy - 2009-04-27 The dagger using class could be a "medical" class! They could produce poisons and use skills that require items that need to be made in a chemist sort of way. For instance: class uses poisons for high DPS, or some chemicals to enhance damage. Class makes chemicals that reduce weapon damage of party members, increase attack, etc. Get what I'm saying? [1.2.222] The Aran Race - Alloy - 2009-04-27 Uhm... it'd be interesting if each class had its own difficulty... Warriors, Combo. Magicians, Chained spells, order of casting changes the result. Thieves, using objects alchemy style, like etc drops, that modify the skill's result. Pirates, using both kuncklers and guns at the same time. (no ideas for pirates, yeah, yaaaay) Bowmen, aiming with the cursor where you want to land your attacks. It could be quite interesting if done correctly [1.2.222] The Aran Race - Dyxanije - 2009-04-27 Alloy Wrote:Pirates, using both kuncklers and guns at the same time.
