How much better (if at all) is Oblivion 4 than Oblivion 2 for Corsairs? I'm getting about 7m/hr soloing at O2 with 100% 3hkoing and like 1% 2hkoing (or 2 Cannon + 1 Torp or 5 Torp). I 100% 3hko at O3 but only manage about 6.5, 6.6m/hr. I blame the layout. I tried O4 but I can't exactly survive there with only 4510 HP. I got about 150 kills into the Oblivion Captain quest when BAM I get hit with a 4,596 blast. I can survive some of their attacks and I 95% 3hko, so I'd do pretty well there in a few levels, but I want to know what kind of exp a Corsair around my level/strength would get. I'm considering doing that double wash thing that apparently doesn't cost any MP 2-3 times so that I can survive by 165 instead of waiting for 170.

It probably depends on how strong you are, so I'd say use your best judgment. For example, since you said you 3HKO both sets of monsters, most likely Oblivion 4 will end up being better exp since they have larger mobs and better exp. I, however, 2HKO the monsters on Oblivion 2 100% of the time, so I believe Oblivion 2 would be better for me until I can 2HKO the monsters on Oblivion 4 too. Hence why I decided to make a Hits to KO calculator.

How much exp do you get at O2 and O4? Have you timed it?

Has anyone herd when we are getting Eternal bullets yet (lvl 110)? I'm kind of upset @ the fact that we didnt get them upon Pirates release. Hell we didnt even get Shiny bullets on Pirates release and they added them with a subsequent patch>.< Also does anyone know what drops them in other versions ive herd the usuall HT and Zak will be dropping them but any other monsters? Maybe an actual training monster (hopes for Skeles but would be alright with anything in ToT) or possiblly they could think about releasing a Maker type of bullet (if they haven't already). I would love a timeless/reverse Bullet, grab like.. 15-30 time pieces for each one 5-6000 per stack... wouldn't need to carry as many bullets and could have more hp/mp Big Grin I wouldnt mind paying like.....200M + for a few attack boost perma. I also herd from 1 person a month or 2 ago about some like shotgun shell or something with like a +35 atk on it that was being introduced, anyone hear of this? He is/was a trustworthy person so that lead me to not dismiss it totally F3

Eternals are supposed to drop from pap and pianus, though i've heard it drops from TT mobs. I'd pray for a GMS exclusive bullet than eternals if i were you though. I has high hopes for a new godly looking knuckle. Glitter

Man i would love some random like 3X atk bullet for GMS only.. Big Grin but i would def settle for eternals

You can double wash without losing MP (since double washing gives you extra MP for free, the only cost being the reset cards), but it's proportionate to how many AP resets you waste, and how much int gear you have - I think for a Pirate it might take 3 resets per +1 AP of hp (20-24?), assuming about 100 int available.

I am going to be makering an overall, but i dunno which one to choose, I need at least +12 dex on it ><

I'm working on the crystals, so i don't care about that right now, but would the level 8o or 90 one be better to make? i can wear both now.

Would doing a stimulator + dex + dark crystal be good? o_o Thanks in advance =)

Why would it take 3 resets? I thought it was 2 (hence the name double).

Anyway, the only reason I want to do it is because I have an obsession with balance and keeping my HP and MP kind of proportionate to what they should be for normal Corsairs. If I'm doing less than 5 resets it's not a huge amount of money anyway. I can put together about 100 int, so I hope that's enough.

Because it's an MS thing? Players don't really name things based on what they do.

Each point in MP adds +14~16 MP+INT/10. When you reset them out you lose 16 MP every time.

If you have 170 int you'd gain 31-33 and lose 32 (one reset into hp, one into normal stats) and it would really be 2 resets per 1 18 hp gain.

-Add into MP
-Reset MP into HP
-Reset MP into DEX

Sounds like 2 to me. Unless for some reason adding directly into MP doesn't get affected by INT.

If you have less than 170 int you'll have less MP every time you do it. (aside: 150 for thieves/bowmen, 50 for warriors) Also worth noting that classes with HP increase need to use an adapted method, taking 2 AP to get 1 HP increase: AP into MP, AP into HP. Reset both to stats. Don't lose the MP, but you can only do it half as often.

flame thrower or gaviota? Or does it really not matter... I already have 19 points into gaviota so im just going to max it, im just asking if any 4th job pirates actually use flame thrower just so i know thats it not a big deal. And please no "I use flame throwers sometimes when i r fighting fire weak mobs" I'm asking if you use Flame at all in your average grind.

I would personally make the lvl 90 one as it has 1 more dex from clean, but you can outweigh this from the 15 hp (im prety sure you need 1 dex>15 hp tho>.>)
lvl 90
STR +6, DEX +3, Avoidability +2
lvl 80
HP +15, STR +6, DEX +2

thats what i did i went with the lvl 90 overall when i made mine Big Grin

I'm not a corsair, but i'd use it if i maxed it, which i would.
