Pokémon X and Pokémon Y - ShinkuDragon - 2013-09-13 Niernen Wrote:Were these not announced before? I thought they were. too bad it doesnt come with the game, but i guess that happens when you release it 2 weeks early. i didn't see ANY posts about it, so this is the first i heard of them. and i'm GLAD that they don't come with the game, i like having my cartridges. Pokémon X and Pokémon Y - 案山子 - 2013-09-13 Fennekin is being modeled after a witch. Chespin is a knight, and Froakie is a rogue/thief. I bet all of my Pokemon cards on this. Pokémon X and Pokémon Y - CakesXD - 2013-09-13 Lozmaster Wrote:Electric types can no longer be paralyzed This was unexpected. I'm not sure how I feel about this. Pokémon X and Pokémon Y - SuperNerd - 2013-09-13 Quote:Electric types can no longer be paralyzed I'm surprisingly okay with this. Honestly, I've always felt like this should have been the norm from the beginning. Pokémon X and Pokémon Y - Razmos - 2013-09-13 SuperNerd Wrote:I'm surprisingly okay with this. Honestly, I've always felt like this should have been the norm from the beginning.I always thought that's how it was haha. i never used leech seed on grass types because I never thought it would work. Never tried paralyzing an electric type either ![]() So my habits don't need to change at all
Pokémon X and Pokémon Y - Olsi - 2013-09-13 Dang quilladin looks so much better in game lol. third evos pls Pokémon X and Pokémon Y - Jamesie - 2013-09-13 I don't get how Electric-types not being able to be paralyzed makes any sense when there's so many ways to get paralyzed outside of Thunder Wave. Pokémon X and Pokémon Y - Dredragon - 2013-09-13 RandomZodiac Wrote:Dang quilladin looks so much better in game lol. third evos pls I take it back too, it looks sick. It was the bad angle that the art was drawn in that made the nose look ugly. Last form better look sick too. Pokemon X and Y 3ds limited edition.. Not that I didn't see this coming, but am sad since I really wanted one and can't get the 3ds now and probably not anytime soon. :< Pokémon X and Pokémon Y - Crowhogan33 - 2013-09-13 Jamesie Wrote:I don't get how Electric-types not being able to be paralyzed makes any sense when there's so many ways to get paralyzed outside of Thunder Wave. Quote:Electric-type Pokémon cannot be afflicted with the Paralyze condition. Quilladin looks a lot better than I thought originally from CoroCoro. I'm hearing it'll turn into a knight in its final evolution, which would be pretty sweet! Still not too excited about Braixen... Really hoping Fennekins third evolution makes up for it. I still love Frogadier. I wasn't a fan of Froakie and Chespin at first, but now I like them. I can get all the starters from friends, but the question is which one I want to play through with my main game... Pokémon X and Pokémon Y - Jamesie - 2013-09-13 Ribbonpig; Why'd you even quote me? Pokémon X and Pokémon Y - Crowhogan33 - 2013-09-13 Jamesie; I quoted you because Electric types are now immune to paralysis completely, not just from moves; but it also affects Static, Synchronize, and Effect Spore. You said Quote:there's so many ways to get paralyzed outside of Thunder Wave. For Electric types, there's now no way for them to get paralyzed - unless something else comes in XY. Pretty sure he meant that it makes no sense that an electric type being immune to lets say stun spore that has nothing to do with electricity(I agree on it too). Pokémon X and Pokémon Y - Crowhogan33 - 2013-09-13 Luxeraph Wrote:Pretty sure he meant that it makes no sense that an electric type being immune to lets say stun spore that has nothing to do with electricity(I agree on it too). Ohhh, that makes more sense to me on what he meant! Yeah, it doesn't make sense on how they'd be immune to moves like Stun Spore, etc when they aren't electric type moves, as well as abilities like Synchronize, which is for grass types... Pokémon X and Pokémon Y - KhainiWest - 2013-09-13 Also if I recall force palm and body slam are other methods. Pokémon X and Pokémon Y - Lugin - 2013-09-13 And Lick(but who uses it?). On the other hand, isn't paralysis caused by problems with nerves passing electrical signals? Also, the last several "Can't move due to para" animations have been fairly electrical in appearance. Pokémon X and Pokémon Y - 案山子 - 2013-09-13 That's actually something me and my girlfriend have talked about before. Paralysis is actually a "neutral" status condition that isn't tied to Electric-type whatsoever, so this new change doesn't make sense. If they specified it for Paralysis solely from Electric attacks that would make sense. Pokémon X and Pokémon Y - Dredragon - 2013-09-13 Nintendo needs to step up some of their arts, half the pokemon I thought were ugly as pineapple turn out looking nice. Mega mewtwo x doesn't even have super ugly feet like I thought. Pokémon X and Pokémon Y - Phoenix Wright - 2013-09-13 Maybe it was for consistency or something; poison types are immune to being poisoned and iirc it's been that way for at least several generations. Pokémon X and Pokémon Y - 案山子 - 2013-09-13 Phoenix Wright Wrote:Maybe it was for consistency or something; poison types are immune to being poisoned and iirc it's been that way for at least several generations. The day Pokemon becomes consistent is the day I die! Pokémon X and Pokémon Y - SuperNerd - 2013-09-13 So, maybe you guys have no idea, but I figured I'd just ask. When do you guys think we're gonna get full spoilers for the game--like the entire list of Pokemon, version exclusives, etc.? I still have no idea which version to get, but I still want to pick the game up on release day, so I hope full spoilers for the game are released at least a few days before the official release. |
