Alright, so time for some more consultation from the Pirate experts.
I'm a level 85 lowDEX Marauder. Capped at 20 DEX (I'll reset it to 4 and go DEXless if I ever get the money to be able to fund that kinda stuff, but for now, I'm remaining lowDEX).
I just recently found a Chaos Scroll and got lucky with Gachapon and sold everything and now have some cash to upgrade equips.
My current equips:
- 20 DEX, 5 STR Red Viska
- 8 DEX, 1 STR Black Basile Boots
- 81 ATT Steelno
- 15/15/15/15 Zakum Helmet
- 2 ATT, 9 STR Pink Adventurer Cape
- 8 ATT Work Gloves
- 3/3/3/3 Blue Belt
- Quest Specialist Medal (+2 to all stats)
- Deputy Star
- 1/1/1/1 Broken Glasses
- 8 DEX Earrings
Now since I'm leveling pretty fast, I'll be at level 90 in a relatively short amount of time, or so I'm hoping. So I figured I should focus on getting a good White Fangs, right? And if so, what ATT should I look for? I'll probably buy prescrolled, because my luck with scrolling is so awful that it'd probably make me lose more cash than just buying a scrolled one from a seller.
I also planned on making another pair of Black Basile Boots and I'm aiming to make them at least +11 DEX (shouldn't be too hard with an Intermediate DEX Crystal). It'd be relatively cheap, so yeah.
I figured my Overall was decent enough for the time being, unless suggested otherwise. And I'm not gonna be scrolling my Z-Helm for a good long while, so no to any suggestions there (like there'd be any, anyways).
That really only leaves my Cape and Gloves. I'm guessing next after the White Fang is to get better Gloves? And should I bother upgrading my Cape or keep it for now?

You can't reset your dex below the required dex to be a your class. It's like this for every class.
Also, even if you could, you'd always be low dex.
You should work for a dep star, trade the cape for a dex cape of equal stats, as well as get a 10 att glove.

Ah pomegranate, I knew I forgot something. Yeah, I meant to put down that I already have a Deputy Star. Oops.
Yeah, I figured I should trade it in for a DEX cape, in fact, I've already saved 3 Cape DEX 60%'s I got from quests for it, but I thought it'd be best to wait before spending 100+ mil. for a 3 ATT PAC or whatever.
I might just buy the ATT glove from the MTS, because last I saw in Khaini, 10 ATT gloves were 100+ mil. each, too, and I really want to save some cash for my White Fangs or something. I guess I'll just have to shop around a bit.
(As for the DEX thing, I completely forgot about that. I feel stupid. Derp.)

My guess is the WG to 10+ and teh nap to a PAC and the knuckle o-o
all require lots of monies. It sucks i know.

I'm brainstorming my equipment upgrades since I achieved 111 DEX without the aid of an overall or shoes (with HTP). I now am figuring out what I should put in my 3rd slots for my overall and shoes.
Here's what I currently plan:
Reverse Knuckles: +5 STR/+5 DEX/+3 attack
No brainer
Black Canopus: +5 STR/+5 DEX/???
Reverse shoes: +5 STR/+5 DEX/???
The question marks are what I'm unsure to add. I've been thinking of adding a +5 speed and a +3 jump, but on the other hand I already get a haste effect 75% of the time, and if I really need to jump to avoid an avoidable attack I can Dash. I already plan to hammer all my equipment as well as scroll 60% Jump scrolls on my shoes. On average, with about 4/7 to pass as well as leveling up the shoes, I should expect about 10 jump on it, which already is enough to get 120% jump with Dash. If that is the case, I can get away with an advanced Amethyst on the overall (+5 avoid), and a +5 speed advanced Aquamarine on the shoes. If someone has better suggestions to fill in the last two questionable slots feel free to post your options. If I were to also factor in the pendant expansion, I can forget the Aquamarine and get two Advanced Amethysts.

I already have a MoN, I'd love more lolavoid, and it's really hard to squeeze an extra 17 DEX from equipment without shoes and overalls.

And to be honest, I still have 1.8b left over (it's incredibly hard for me to splurge on what I consider is a fortune), and I already have my needed Time Pieces and materials to make what I want as well as my desired INT equipment save for my gloves and a black belt (152 INT + 4 INT from upgrading belt to black + 9 INT gloves = 160 INT when leveling). What else is there to spend it on? I'm sure as heck not gonna find a 12+ DEX/4+ attack PAC in Bellocan anytime soon.
I MAY switch to a Facestompers whenever I have so much money I need two characters to hold it all, but on the other hand I'm not all THAT crazy about pumping out as much weapon attack as possible out of my equipment.
Sorry, but if the absolute min/maxing my character means being subjected to the Clown suit syndrome, then no thanks. I'd prefer a mix of power and FASHION.
I already consider pushing it by wearing an NX hat, and will need an invisible NX face item thanks to scrolling a 5 DEX Rat Mouth.

Ok well I know what I need to upgrade (Earrings, Overall, Shoes), but I was wondering if you guys could give me some ideas on what I should aim for stat wise and what it will cost me to upgrade?

Alright, I'll downgrade the shoes. I'm going with Canopus Boots instead, because it's a difference of 4 DEX and an additional slot. Looks like I'll be saving meself 15 Time Pieces then.
*Also because when I looked at Bannedstory simulator the Black Canopus makes the Reverse shoes look like clown shoes.

We dont really need to HP wash, we have around 6k (iirc) hp by 120. ATM, on my 110 marauder, i have around 5.5k with a MoN. Which is easily enough for most things. The main reason to HP wash as a Bucc, would be to be able to take hits from Bigfoot, other than that, its just padding.
