Well unless he has some of her DNA, which would be pretty creepy lol.... I don't think he can do that. Plus, if she was revived, he'd be a partial necrophiliac and I don't think we want that plot twist.
In all seriousness, I'd imagine he wants the real Rin and at the point where Kakashi killed her, it must have driven him mad enough to change his view of the world and what he wanted to do. By the time Kabato figured out how to do that jutsu, I feel it is too far in the future for your idea to work.

It was a joke. Ha...ha....ha.
Idk if he feels like he never got closure with her or if he still loves her and regrets not being there to protect her/Kakashi not protecting her. If all of this crap happened because he never got to tell her he loved her, then that's a bullshit reason for taking over the world with genjutsu.
I do agree though that we need to wait for more information, like usual.

The only way to plausibly revive Rin was using Nagato's jutsu, which would have completely revived her as with the people of Konoha. Edo tensei would have made of her a sort of zombi, so no matter how strong Obito's or Rin's feelings were , she wouldn't belong in this world (not to mention its kind of sick)
In any case, if Obito ever lost his chances with Rin it was for all the years he spent locked into that cave, not for her death. She already had a thing for Kakashi, Obito left and then it was only Kakashi watching over Rin all the time. That would explain why Obito has given up on the world and wants to throw it into a Dream, because no matter what he does, he can't get back those years and Rin's heart.

I think the questions kojo was referred too was questions regarding zetsu, how pain got involved, and how the aktuski started.

Several of those questions, we already knew the answers to.
Madara killed the people attacking Nagato, then while Nagato was still unconscious (Because if you remember, he was knocked out during the fight where he gained his rinnegan), implanted his rinnegan in him.
We were already told ages ago that the moon was the container for the body of the 10 tails, and it was at least very heavily hinted (in retrospect) that said body was the Gedo Mazo.
Yin yang justsu (Onyounton) are not anything new. They are just another "element" of technique. They result in several of the techniques that don't have obvious elements, like Shikamarus shadow techniques.

I get that the Moon was something created by the Sage of Six Paths using Chibaku Tensei to seal the Ten Tails, what I don't quite get is why Madara would need it if Gedo Maso is the Ten Tail's body and he already got it out from the moon. It sounded to me like it has more importance than acting as a mirror to the eternal mangekyo, maybe I'm looking too deep into it.
As for Nagato's past, those hints you mention must come from around Jiraiya's fight with Pain, which I didn't really read. (It's in the whole between when I dropped the anime and picked up the manga).
