There was a bug last patch that caused Shade Split + Shadow Partner to deal no damage at all, but it correctly displayed 3 and 6 lines when attacking. Without SP, Shade Split did 3 lines of damage though. Shade Split uses bulletCount and attackCount in its variable lists. Bullet Count has been traditionally used for hits on projectiles, i.e. Triple/Quadruple Throw. I guess it uses that now. We'll see on release if they change the readout.

Showdown Challenge has a bulletCount = 3 and attackCount = 2 but it uses attackCount for hits though...

On another note, it appears in KMST 1.2.480, Showdown Challenge didn't activate Shadow Partner.

I always thought bulletCount was just the number of stars (or arrows, or bullets) consumed. Hmm, but Strafe has bulletCount but no attackCount.

Yeah I considered Nebs our alternative to Additional Options, but I just feel like they wont want to tie it in to the crafting system. Don't get me wrong, I'd love it if they did, they need to go down a lot in price, as even the more sub-par ones are still fall on the side of absurdly priced for an unfunded player; even worse when they add a second Neb slot I'd imagine.

Shouldn't Shade Split have bulletConsume = 3 since it wastes 3 stars per usage without SP?

There seemed to be a server-sided fix for Taunt in kMST 1.2.480 actually because the newer videos had SP affecting it. However, I noticed they also bugged Shade Split to deal 15 hits or so with SP in the process. That bug with Shade Split was fixed in kMST 1.2.481, but the videos show it dealing 3 hits (6 with SP), which was the original intent in kMST 1.2.480. Then, the extractions show the attackCount lowered to 1 from 3 for Shade Split, so I assume another server-sided fix is in order.

It should be bulletConsume if that's what they want for spending, and I think it is. They probably messed up the variables and went WT'F when it wasn't working as intended and possibly did a server sided fix to it, if it really was hitting 15 times with SP. Nexon is just bad.

in that video i think it's bugged the big bang buff(or effect when used genesis) he need charg it :f6:, and the bishop Angel ray?it's doubling now with avenger?

Yeah, and that means Taunt should also have bulletConsume = 2, not bulletCount = 3.

At 3:57 or so, Shade Split does 9 hits without SP. At 4:23 or so, Shade Split does 15 hits with SP. At 7:30 or so, Taunt does 4 hits with SP.

That's what I was expecting when I went to search for 1.2.480 videos, but I only saw 3 hits and 6 hits. 3 bullets, each doing 3 hits each. Showdown Challenge not doing the same is odd though. If you look at its hit animations though, it's intended to hit 3 times rather than two.
