Nintendo has ditched the idea of making the 3d mario games the absolute best in the genre that they did on Wii with galaxy 1 and 2, and is going with the paint by numbers approach that 3D land did.

And only 2 announcements for the new smash bros, yawnnnnnn. Megaman was ok, but I'd rather have seen a bunch of new nintendo characters, with the 3rd parties announced later. And how many people had the animal crossing guy near the top of their "I want this in smash bros" lists, really?

It wasn't a great presentation, lots of "Will be coming in 2014"s and virtually no surprises.

Also confirmed that Nintendso 3rd party support consists basically of ubisoft and a game or two from sega/capcom. Ugh.

We needed Super Mario Universe (Hell, I'd have settled for galaxy 3 in retrospect), not an entry in the obviously rushed 3D land series.
