Soul Seeker is good on large maps where you're not OHKOing entire platforms with Hammer. I trained at Red Nose Pirates to get to 4th in KMS, and I know Hammer was better there since you could demolish the platforms, and Soul Seeker wouldn't go very far since everything died. For any more wide-spread maps where monsters aren't foo far from each other, Soul Seeker would be good. Something like the Dual Ghost Pirates map would be terrible since the vertical height between monsters is so large, and the way you cycle through it lends better to Celestial Roar/Hammer spam. The Dark Cornian map on the bottom right side of Red Dragon Turtles is a perfect example though (I went from like 110 to 145 there), and from what I vaguely recall of the Jester maps, it would probably be fantastic in there as well.
It's probably amazing at LHC, as I'd expect it to be able to hit almost everything on the map if you just stand at the center and spam it. It also doesn't draw aggro, so you can use it at high level areas from a safe platform without fear of things attacking you if they don't have auto-aggro.
Soul Seeker is probably my favourite concept for an attacking skill so far of any class, and I hope they adopt a similar thing for the Nova Archer.

I really didn't want to play this class before. But, today I decided to take a moment, fix my Kaiser's transformation color (finally, Yellow body and Red Trim!
), get a couple of pictures (for memories' sake), and start an Angelic Buster. Honestly, I thought those skills would completely and utterly bore me, but my gosh is this class absolutely fun. I've only reached level 16, but those last six levels were so much fun! Forget all the pink coloring, that just makes AB all the more interesting! I just might train her past 70 now!

Imagine this. Arrow hits enemy, splinters and hits him again, repeats unti l it breaks, maybe a limit of ten at a 70% splinter chance. Like a shrapnel kind of effect. They could totally bootleg some of soul seekers code for it, as in the self resummoning.

Honestly, I'm not really having as much fun playing this class as I thought I would. The recharge system just feels annoying to deal with and some of her skills just feel slow to fire off.
Also, 2nd job was somewhat annoying to get through, especially considering that she has no real good 2nd job attack skills (Lovely Sting doesn't cut it for me, sorry). Star Bubble works so much better for general attacking while switch to the drill move or regular attacking for recharges.
Probably just gonna get her to 100 for the character card effect and leave her there for the time being.
I will say there are two good points for the job though.
A. Soul Seeker. Rather fun to use I must say.
B. Eskalade's quest dialogues. Hilarity all around.

just wait till 4th job my son. on the sixth day of labor, god made Affinity 4. On the seventh day, he rested, and saw that it was good.
the class also gets about 10000x easier and more fun to play in 4th job.

ya it is true. I just used a special mastery book earlier and it was the last option. I have not tested it for kaiser, however.

Sadly yes, it is only seems to be for AB right now.

The second job was pretty horrible, really really clunky.
Third Job had it's issues, those rather common times where you can't soul seeker and are just plain forced to use the hammer combo.
I keep noticing the effect of Terms and Conditions not going away... does this occur for anyone else..?

With what I said before, I didn't understand that all your skills practically have 1 skill use each. I never played it long enough, so I wouldn't notice, and when you try and spam it somewhere that has no mobs you can spam infinitely. I rushed my AB to 70 just for link, so couldn't say I played it enough. It does indeed recharge all the skills like people pointed out.
Other news, pink pummel seems to have iframes, works just fine sadly I don't even see whats the point in it though. Almost every boss where I'd want the iframes it doesn't work anyways.

Haven't really read much of the quest dialogue, besides whats in this threads and various others around SP, as I'm bad at just holding the Y/NPC Chat button down while doing quests, but during my 4th job advancement I read this and it seemed fitting.
