Summarized %/s List - DSdavidDS - 2013-01-20 Hey, JoeTang, is there any way you can add additional dps for all the jobs with summons and extra autoattacks. I believe this will significantly improve the dps of MM, BM, Merc, DrK (Beholder), Corsairs, and all Mages. AFA sounds significant as well... The tables account for all buffs/summons/passive effects. Summarized %/s List - Bladester - 2013-01-20 I think all these people believe Tang to be an idiot. Go through each section and read the attacking/buffing routine. Summarized %/s List - Sorien - 2013-01-21 Hey Joe, I was wondering if your damage calculator takes certain buff effects into account for Kaisers. After hitting 150, I've found that starting a fight by using Wing Beat three times summoning Stone Dragon, attacking with Inferno Breath, attacking with Tempest Blades, summoning Tempest Blades, using Kaiser's Majesty to reset all cooldowns, attacking with Inferno Breath again, and THEN transforming to attack with Tempest Blades twice and use Wing Beat three more times is pretty effective. I'm not sure just how powerful the overall combo is, however, and you may have already found a better one. Summarized %/s List - TheBlackMage - 2013-01-22 @JoeTang about Cannoner's buckshot here are some pictures with buckshot and without http://imgur.com/a/sMfrY#0 And the range during this test was 51135~60081 Ok it is -60% damage lol... Summarized %/s List - ShinkuDragon - 2013-01-22 a quick question, since i forgot , i believe you don't use weapon multiplier in these calculations, correct? Isn't it 90s cd and 90s duration after accounting for Union Aura though? The list is titled "%/s". What do those Basilers think the % is of, if not range? Summarized %/s List - ShinkuDragon - 2013-01-22 SaptaZapta Wrote:The list is titled "%/s". oh, they do know it's range, they just argue that it doesn't account for stuff that JT does not calculate, like mastery. which in a way is true since some masteries can't be compared (i.e. a mage mastery vs a cannon shooter one) and thus say these are only relevant when everyone has the same range. (which is true) then again, that's when they're being used for comparison. don't think anyone over there uses them for "this is how much damage i'll deal" Summarized %/s List - Takebacker - 2013-01-22 ShinkuDragon Wrote:oh, they do know it's range, they just argue that it doesn't account for stuff that JT does not calculate, like mastery. which in a way is true since some masteries can't be compared (i.e. a mage mastery vs a cannon shooter one) and thus say these are only relevant when everyone has the same range. The calculations do indeed account for Union Aura's +30s duration, I had forgotten about that when I made the note in the OP. Alternatively, they could do that themselves. Since Total Damage and pomegranate are accounted for in range, you can't just take the number from your stat window to multiply with %/s. What you should do is calculate your clean max range, WATK * Multiplier * (4 * Mainstat + secondstat) / 100. Since %/s includes %WATK in it currently, and I'm trying to decide what to do about that. Also, since I don't know what they did to the defense ignore formula, I can't account for those changes in my tables, so they will remain as the old formula for now. And as Takebacker stated, they should stop being uninformed plebs, and consider actually reading. All anyone has to do is use their max clean range multiplied by the %/s, and it will be the average damage done. They don't have to consider mastery because I already did. Even though it says "adjusted mastery" in the first f'ucking line.urgh, i used the wrong word in one post and it's the post you notice, my mistake, i meant weapon multipliers, not mastery* JoeTang Wrote:I'm considering this, to convert this %/s to include Weapon Multipliers, so all you need to do is multiply by WATK * (4 * Mainstat + secondstat), since your displayed "range" is often not accurate for this, and it would standardize things. well, %w.attk is multiplied by the whole formula and stuff, it wouldn't be an issue unless someone had it as their potential instead of %boss, which in the end would result in less damage in every case when 1v1'ing, which is what these charts show. as for PDR, i think 0% would be the best choice, or maybe split the percentages into what's blocked by PDR and what isn't. because from what it seems pdr is multiplicative now, so 60+10% pdr isn't the same as 35+35% pdr and again, the last point was my mistake, i meant weapon multiplier there, not mastery. i'm only taking into consideration what those able to read say. Summarized %/s List - The Anonymous - 2013-01-24 What is "Ultimate Drive"? I googled up that skill but couldn't find out what it does. Summarized %/s List - Curtiss - 2013-01-24 The Anonymous Wrote:What is "Ultimate Drive"? I googled up that skill but couldn't find out what it does. Huh? Ultimate Drive is Phantom's Hurricane-like skill obtained during the 4th job that attacks twice but is not as ranged as the others because he flies into a stabbing frenzy and moves while stabbing with his cane (GMS and MSEA both use the name Mille Aguilles by the way (Translation: Thousand Needles)). Its delay is higher than the other Hurricane-type skills though to make up for how he attacks twice with it. Summarized %/s List - Icedemontrihorn - 2013-01-24 A little typo (I think...) Phantom's ultimate drive in the 200% boss is missing a digit. Summarized %/s List - solarforce88 - 2013-01-26 Hey Joe, is it possible to have a breakdown of how Kaiser Untransfigured 1v1 comes to about 45 hits per second. Does that account for setup time of Wing beats and the dragon summons? I'm curious to how easy it is to maintain the 45 hits as opposed to a hero's 10.82 hits per sec, which is like 95% consistent since it's bascially mashing one button. Summarized %/s List - tacobff - 2013-01-26 Does kaiser need a stonetooth sword to hit cap? Or is he fine with the von leon 2h sword? |
