I really want Rayman Legends though. Wii U Discussion: Super Mario 3D World out in all the places (that matter!) - Lozmaster - 2012-10-20 That's pretty good, did the Wii U pad make much difference to NSMB? I can't imagine it would, but Nintendoland is probably a better demo for the gamepad. They've started having Wii U events in the UK too, but they're too far for me to get to currently. If anybody cares they are :

Wii U Discussion: Super Mario 3D World out in all the places (that matter!) - byakugan - 2012-10-21 So I watched the last EstraCredits and they were talking about the posibilities to gameplay that the GamePad could bring to games in which the player can keep information hidden from others, to develop strategies, solve puzzles and stuff, all of this given the Wii U can support more than 2 pads at a time. Then I remember I read somewhere (IDK if thats true) that each pad relies on the console hardware for its own graphics processing, causing each pad to drag from the potential of the console. Now I just watched a screwattack video and they were talking about the conectivity between the 3DS and the new smash bros and that they wish this connectivity can be carried out to all games in order of turning the 3DS as an alternative of the gamepad, with 3 screens to work with instead of 2 So giving the pad does drag from the Wii U's power, wouldn't that be genius if the 3DS could have wireless conectivity with the console turning into an alternative controler? You can play with 3 other people on MH3U (3 3DS users and you the Wii U owner), So yeah it's possible and I think it'll be the case for Super Smash Bros for Wii U/3DS but from what nintendo has shown, they are going to use the Pad as a second type of controller for other type of game play in the same game, an example of this is the metroid game for Nintendo Land, also nintendo has blocked some of the Wii U resources (like they did with 3DS at first, some people say it's a 25% of power). So maybe you could use it to connect more pads. Edit: And I think the best game for 2 Pads is pokemon, I'd like a game like pokemon Stadium 1/2, for Wii U. Wii U Discussion: Super Mario 3D World out in all the places (that matter!) - byakugan - 2012-10-21 I am not talking about connectivity between the games on the 3DS and the games on the console. I'm talking about turning the 3DS into a controller for the Wii U in aside the connectivity between games. Since the 3DS has it's own graphics processing hardware It wouldn't hinder the console, allowing for it to dedicate all its potential into graphics and other stuff. Besides you'd have 3 screens instead of 2, one of them in 3D for whatever developers wanted to use that aspect. Personallly I find this as a much more practical idea than having to buy 4 gamepads. Sony is already getting into something like this with the PS3 and the Vita, so if Nintendo doesn't stay alert they might beat them to it. Besides you'd have 3 screens instead of 2, one of them in 3D for whatever developers wanted to use that aspect. It doesn't matter. No hardware is ever going to seriously support any interactions between systems like that. It just isn't worth the money to assume people have access to multiple 3ds consoles for use as controllers, especially given the much smaller screen size/resolution compared to the gamepad, the limitation of a single slide pad (Without another add on) and numerous other reasons. How many games actually used the GBA-GC connectivity? A handful at best, and the only real in game uses were four swords adventures and crystal chronicles. Neither of which did spectacularly. At the most optometrist, we might eventually see a 4 swords down the line, but that is it. Sonys PS3xVita plan is going to tank precisely because you need two consoles for it. The only reason Monster hunter is happening is because CApcoms selling the same game on both consoles, and I don't think they're doing anything bar connecting the two wirelessly. Heck, for that matter, the Wii and Original DS could connect together in the same way you mention. How many games use it? It's a number very close to 0. Also: The Wii U can't support 4 gamepads. It's limited to 2 at most, and I'm led to believe that already cuts the FPS in half. Wii U Discussion: Super Mario 3D World out in all the places (that matter!) - Locked - 2012-11-08 After all the bad ads.. dat accent.. hnnng. Wii U Discussion: Super Mario 3D World out in all the places (that matter!) - Lozmaster - 2012-11-08 IWata (?!?) unboxed a preimum Wii U bundle too. Nintendo UK subbed the video too, so if that sort of thing floats your boat: (There is no copy of Nintendoland included with Japanese Wii Us, before anyone panics.). Supposedly, Wii U stock is also gonna be really tight for the UK too. I hope they have enough to fufill my preorder, don't wanna have to reorder it from somewhere else, since I managed to get a pretty good deal.... Is anyone else planning on getting it (near) launch (or christmas?) Wii U Discussion: Super Mario 3D World out in all the places (that matter!) - Locked - 2012-11-08 I can't watch unboxings. It feels like it'll ruin that feel when I get them. It's a bit silly but it's one of the small things I care about. Wii U Discussion: Super Mario 3D World out in all the places (that matter!) - byakugan - 2012-11-08 The thing is in my country I would be charged like 3 times its cost due to... lot of crap. However I've got a contact in a gaming store that might help me get it much cheaper. If that happens I plan on buying one in the first quarter. Oh btw, you all nikkas better buy a Wii U too. They already announced they are selling at a loss because their sales aren't as good as they had predicted. We can't have this be the last Nintendo console and go the way of Sega or even worse... get adquired by Disney... (dun dun dun) |
