Thief Legend Coming Soon to KMS - Blades4hire - 2011-11-18 Inb4 it uses dex as main stat and luk as secondary(like a pirate using STR and dex and vice versa) so that we have to recube all our thief equips. Thief Legend Coming Soon to KMS - Takebacker - 2011-11-18 Gotta be lucky to wear those equipments, man. Thief Legend Coming Soon to KMS - ShinkuDragon - 2011-11-18 ...i feel like drawing this... Thief Legend Coming Soon to KMS - Corazon - 2011-11-18 I have firm belief that it's Su. Furthermore, they said it was a sister. Note that girls don't HAVE to bear the long hair/ponytail stereotype. In fact, there are many women who have short hair in Maple (that girl in the DB training area whose name escapes me at the moment) so I am firm in the belief that it's Su, Orca's twin sister. However, I really think that if Akyrum is getting a quest version of his fight (based on the revamps), then either this is Orca getting a revamp of the OPPOSITE kind (highly unlikely), or that Su will appear in the same format that Akyrum is of this current patch. According to hearsay, Su is stronger than Orca (least that's what I'm hearing) so maybe Su is gonna be released as a new Expedition boss? Explains why Orca is so pathetic in Mercedes' storyline.

Thief Legend Coming Soon to KMS - Hanabira.Kage - 2011-11-18 A character class whose fighting style is based almost completely around setting traps and the like could make things more interesting...
Thief Legend Coming Soon to KMS - Corazon - 2011-11-18 Oh yes, tell me about it. Furthermore, I hope they don't use the Kusari-gama unique for Thief legend, otherwise I'm going to panic. You realize that'll make the Soul Eater fanbois come out in droves once this hits GMS? Then again, I can't really figure out what else they'd use. Kusari-gama seems to be the only weapon fit for a Thief type (that doesn't involve dipping into swords). As for Pirate legends, I'm thinking it's going to be a Brawler. No offense, but we might actually find out what happened to Kyrin's father with the Pirate legend. Way I see it, Pirate legend's intro will be washing ashore on a mysterious island, help the natives, catch a boat to Vic, meet Kyrin, sob story continues. Thief Legend Coming Soon to KMS - kimicatdemon - 2011-11-18 Just gonna say, I am calling this right now. Either one of the two remaining heroes will be a successor, or both of them will be. Nexon seems to like the 3:2 ratio. Thief Legend Coming Soon to KMS - Celan - 2011-11-18 kimicatdemon Wrote:Just gonna say, I am calling this right now. But still I'm thinking about "Su". S/He reminds me of the Cleric of DragonNest, by the hair at least. o3o Thief Legend Coming Soon to KMS - Viaje - 2011-11-18 Corazon Wrote:Kusari-gama seems to be the only weapon fit for a Thief type (that doesn't involve dipping into swords).People like you are so funny. Speaking in absolutes that are absolutely not absolute. Are we going to pretend that throwing punches or riding in giant robots are massive pirate stereotypes? Well, there's one OTHER weapon type I was considering, but that would mean that the Thief legend would be like Sins in that regard (although that would probably balance stuff out). It's the Fuuma Shuriken. Also known as a Boomerang Shuriken, due to its size and the way it's wielded. Also, the Space Pirate theme wouldn't fit in Maple's fantasy world (since the theory is that the legends lived on or were residents of Victoria Island at one point - case in point Aran, Mercedes, and Freed (Evan's a natural resident)), and it's largely up in the air of how they're going to handle Pirates Thief Legend Coming Soon to KMS - Viaje - 2011-11-18 kimicatdemon Wrote:Space pirates. duuuuuh. ??? Kimicatdemon did in what was clearly a joke. But, if you're going to entertain the suggestion, I might as well point out that there's no reason a space pirate couldn't have lived on Victoria Island at one point. I'm a sky pirate. Quote:Now we all give thanks that the game's creative directors aren't limited to what you've learned from Naruto. Naruto wasn't even the anime I was thinking of when I wrote that. I was thinking of Black Star from Soul Eater when I made the Kusarigama reference. You could say you're spot on about the Fuuma Shuriken being a reference to Naruto, although I'm sure a crapton of other places use it - like Ragnarok Online (there's a Huuma Wind Shuriken, a reference to the Fuuma Shuriken) - in fact, Avenger's an energy-based Fuuma. The Hermit gathers energy in his claw and throws it in a ninja star like shape, which is not unlike the Fuuma Shuriken itself. Quote:First of all, I never suggested a space pirate. Kimicatdemon did in what was clearly a joke. That's true, though there's a giant problem with that. Why would a Space Pirate legend have any beef with the Black Mage in the first place, let alone even know or care about him and his Black Wings? I think that the logic of Nexon hating Pirates heavily bases itself on the fact that Masteria's been left alone for so darn long (which also shows the anti-pirate hate given that Masteria's conception never factored in Pirates) - not sayin' that Nexon WON'T rework Masteria, but I think the Black Mage is currently their greatest antagonist (which he and Naricain are probably huge case loads for them in terms of content), and they don't want to go off track of that because it means interrupting what could be a very epic and heavy storyline for another storyline they might easily screw up (given our own playerbase's expectations of Masteria) - and we know for sure that means interrupting what is probably considered canon lore in kMS (also remember that Masterian lore is strictly OUR lore - and as such was never intended to reach kMS the way it did, if at all). My theory on the whole Masteria thing is that they KNOW it's there - why else would they take it from us and butcher it? Worst case scenario, it gives the Korean Devs a reminder that CWK (and by that note Masteria) DO still exist. All we need to do is be patient until the Black Mage dies, then we'll be on our way to killing a giant demon (Naricain) and THEN we can rage at Nexon for taking so darn long. Hence why they need to get Pirates right this coming revamp (and possibly a minor reason as to why they'd revamp them). Nevermind. I need to check before I write. Thief Legend Coming Soon to KMS - Alloy - 2011-11-19 I still want to see a class based off Deadpool. I mean in personality and 4th wall breaking. Like, totally. I can see it already. Boring quest text, halfway through, the character on the chat window representing yourself goes all "Screw this, YOU keep reading" and jumps off it, out of the screen. With the other npc chatting as normal, while any text displayed by your character is gone. Nexon hates Pirates because of Masteria? KMS wasn't involved with the creation of Masteria? Other statements about Masteria that have pineappleall to do with Legends? Yeah, okay then.
