That SS proves that the hob set 15% ignore has no effect.

I did some minor tests on my Marksman not long after the jump patch and came to the conclusion that ignore def from other sources works and stacks, but Ignore Def from the Codex does not work at all.

Once I can get back on MS I'll do it again and post the math behind it in case there's a huge flaw in my calculations.

When I've calculated with my 15%/15% PDR bow, it seemed it didn't work at all. Weapon, Codex, Ambition, or anything.

Just tested Codex using Victoria Friends (0 ignore def), Mu Lung (15%) and Leafre (30%) sets.
Same observed damage range with all three.

My Combat Mastery (40%) and Ambition (10%) do seem to work, however. I hit up to 94.86% of my damage max (using regular attack) on Sand Rats, which supposedly have 10 PDR.

I don't have a weapon with ignore def to test with.

It was there for a while after Big Bang, but all the old defense values have been removed.

It does. I see my damage shoot up everytime I threaten and everytime it turns off I lose a chunk, too.

Someone should do tests on that AoE Night Lord debuff... Does it stack with threaten? Because if so, paladins have a new best friend. Not only because of the insanely reduced defense, but also because it's even more boosted with combat orders.

There's gotta be something OP about accelbot (mechanics)

I used today's AP reset and stopped adding AP once i hit 10k max range. Without using accelbot, my max hit with tank mode basic shots was 9.2k (I hit this almost exactly, never higher) on 10%PDR mobs.

Sources of ignore def: 15% on gun, 15% on codex, 20% on atomic hammer (proven to leak to work on other skills).

Clearly only the 20% ignore def from atomic hammer is kicking in... and the one on my gun is being useless.

Then I remember that I have accel bot... I give it a shot... and get mindpineapple'd:

I hit 9975 when my max range is 10002. I even hit 9991 once, though I didn't grab the SS in time... how the hell did I hit 99.9% of my range?

20% from skill then 15% accel bot... at BEST I'd get 35% ignore if it's additive. Hell, even if accel bot MAGICALLY makes everything stack... that's 20%(atomic hammer)+15%(gun)+15%(codex)+15%(accelbot)=65% ignore additively.... theoretical max of 9650 damage... wtp's going on here?
