Slandering a person without leaving your name is cowardice. I don't understand why a user would commit to someone as "annoys me", especially considering the irony that the user has most likely annoyed the person in question by performing such an action. Judging the character of a person, without leaving criteria that was used as the basis for the decision also doesn't sit well with me. Posts annoy me, but not people. The system shouldn't force the community to commit to transparency. But it is a factor that people should consider when they submit ratings on other users.

Well I can only speak for myself on this. As far as I am concerned, I have no intention of using the rep system at all. If I have something to say to someone I will say it to them. I am not a coward and will not hide what I think if I feel it is that improtant for me to speak what is on my mind. That said, it take a lot to really put me in a position where I feel that is needed. Typically I keep to myself and only post here as I see things I care to comment on. Most things I ignore just because I either no nothing about the topic of just plain dont care. My only responces come when I know something that the topic is on or something that relates to it. Otherwise comments are short sweet and to the point.
As for the rep system, it is simply not worth the trouble to worry about it.

What exactly would you aim to achieve by directly talking to someone you don't like about something you don't like about them? Stirring up an argument? Venting? Or seeking harmony? Mutual understanding? Or perhaps trying to help the person see and correct his faults? I just can't seem to think of one.
People in general should be able to draw conclusions for themselves, and to do it as well as possible, they need as much information as possible. I would not say this reputation system might prove helpful by itself, but a certain few people will appreciate the feedbacks that confirm their "unclear intuition" about this particular guy.
Aside from that, it's a fun feature for those who aren't too afraid of public opinions, not those who claim they aren't.

I see it spelled as weaboo all the time. Knowyourmeme doesn't really mean anything to anyone but I am curious as to which one is proper to use, or if they both work and mean the same thing.
