Batman Mafia - MAFIA Wins. - Holypie - 2010-11-30 Oh wow look at all of the stuff that's gone on. I don't trust the mute thing either, Mute isn't cruel enough for that (or is he? I don't know him well). Anyway, after he experienced how suck it was me probably wouldn't want to do it to another person...? Are you doing this as a one time thing to comment on Mephisto, or do you have to rhyme every time that you post? Because if we have two rhymers, I suggest we lynch one, because as weird as ol' Eddie is, I don't think there'd be two of him. As for the Mute role, I wouldn't doubt it, and I bet if it is real, Stephen secretly wanted me to get it. lol Batman Mafia - MAFIA Wins. - Mute - 2010-11-30 It's entirely possible. Batman Mafia - MAFIA Wins. - Manu - 2010-11-30 Two rhymers could be Harley queen x Joker. Although I read something about harley queen earlier, but it wasn't roleclaimed was it? Batman Mafia - MAFIA Wins. - Shidoshi - 2010-11-30 I'm really lost in this crossfire. Been my first mafia game I still don't know who or if I'm going to vote. Guess I'll take the time to watch and vote for whoever seems the most suspicious. Batman Mafia - MAFIA Wins. - Swerve - 2010-11-30 READ THIS POST AND COMMENT! Shidoshi Wrote:I'm really lost in this crossfire. Been my first mafia game I still don't know who or if I'm going to vote. Guess I'll take the time to watch and vote for whoever seems the most suspicious. In my opinion, watching does nothing if you don't become active. There are plenty of things to consider during D1 already without accounting for the behavior. For example, how many mafia members are there? It seems like there is just Batman. But Kajiti's silenced status seems to indicate that Batman might have a silencer attribute or Batman could be traditional mafia man with Robin as silencer. In a game of 19, it seems that there should at least be two to three mafia hitmen. If I were mafia, I might hide one of my members among the quiet people I aforementioned while have the other two play more active roles. Another thing to consider is Mephisto claiming to be the Joker with his behavior. If anyone wants to counterclaim then they SHOULD ****ING POST A COUNTERCLAIM. The same with Dual Reaver insinuating that his character is Harley Quinn. Therefore securing two townie positions. Inactives seriously cripple town. I'm honestly debating that it might be best to just lynch inactive players or hope that some of them don't respond so that they get kicked from the game. Because they are absolutely useless in terms of information gathering. The inactives I listed above count to 9. Therefore actives would be 10. If we lynch an active (i.e. Corn, Holypie) and mafia lynch an active then the count for actives will be 8. This is not an ideal situation as you are able to observe trends in active players and can hope to trap mafia with either lie-telling, behavior, or other behavior based factors. If they are scum, then they still might reveal themselves through gameplay. If Greg was in da house, I'm sure that he would help me out. See Shidoshi, if you got involved, then you would be able to help town out as well. Keep in mind I'm thinking about a lot of things right now which I haven't stated because it is only D1. But that doesn't mean D1 is useless. D1 is only as useless as you are as a player. Get involved because there will be no refutation for lynch. Also Corn, you should honestly say something. It is either going to be you or Synthesist. And if we don't lynch you toDAY, then we will probably do it by Day 3 if you don't speak up. Honestly. Did you just make a dumb play as town or scum? Honestly stand up for yourself. Otherwise you're just hurting town, even if you're just a vanilla townie. That goes to all of you. With as many inactive players as there are right now, active players have really got to turn it up. In conclusion, inactive players you should honestly either consider not posting at all leading to suicide or should get active, now. As you are right now, you are a liability that should be lynched. The only better lynch target than you is mafia. Therefore my consideration for hunting inactives as mafia. Therefore I may also change my vote to an inactive (i.e. Synthesist, Caotic, so on and so forth) if they do not seriously participate. But then again he doesn't give a ****. Why the **** would you join a game where you don't give a ****. ****. Batman Mafia - MAFIA Wins. - MasPan - 2010-11-30 Crazy rant is crazy. Batman Mafia - MAFIA Wins. - Shidoshi - 2010-11-30 Well, I'm mostly not very active for two reasons: 1. I have been in the university all day and came just now to see a thread full of reponses. 2. First time playing so I don't understand most of the nuances and what to observe in how each player acts. Besides, what do you want me to comment on? I can see who are the ones trying to lead the opinion of the majority, the ones just idling (intended or not), the ones doing strange things either because of their role or because they want people to think they have a certain role and finally the ones who are acting strange. I really don't know how much theatrical each player here is and how much I can believe in how they post, hard to decide something like this. The only believable things are those posted by Mute. Batman Mafia - MAFIA Wins. - MasPan - 2010-11-30 Yeah, Harley was never really known for rhyming, mostly for her rather pathetic but cute love for her dear Mistah J. Batman Mafia - MAFIA Wins. - Dual - 2010-11-30 Oh ho ho, I think I've solved this little charade. Welcome to our ranks, Scarecrow, with your habit of speaking in nursery rhymes. Batman Mafia - MAFIA Wins. - Mute - 2010-11-30 @Swerve; As I have said I AM THE JOKER! I counterclaim a non-claimed and assumed-claim claim. Also, please explain if you're voting for Corn or not on page 3 (I use the 40-post-per-page setup). @Shidoshi; You're also in france, so there's that. Even if you feel it is needless, always give your opinion on the events that have unfolded. Saying "I think that X is suspicious for Y" is usually enough. I got it, a russian will slip with a banana skin and break his neck! Batman: That's right robin, the only possible answer. So it's impossible for Mephisto to be the Riddler, because he's not trying to get us to solve anything. The charade remains unsolved, Though Scarecrow is surely involved This discussion has devolved Around guessing my role it now revolves I cannot recommend this course of action My identity is of an unimportant fashion "A villain true and blue!" reads my caption And wasting time is worse than inaction I suggest continuing to probe for reactions From the as-yet-unspeaking faction Batman Mafia - MAFIA Wins. - Manu - 2010-11-30 DualReaver Wrote:I also believe I've solved the hidden secret behind Kajiti, but I don't trust myself on it enough to say more about it, so for now I don't want him dead. If I were mafia, I might hide one of my members among the quiet people I aforementioned while have the other two play more active roles. The hiding a member is a common strategy and it almost always happens. As for the number of mafia, we probably have 6 threats in total. (5 mafia/1neutral or 4 mafia/2neutrals) We normally have 4-5mafia depending how big the game is. My guess would be: Batman, Red Robin, another Robin, and Batgirl-with a few neutrals. Swerve Wrote:If anyone wants to counterclaim then they SHOULD ****ING POST A COUNTERCLAIM. This is obvious. Most mafia member stay quiet about their abilities. In the mafia games I have played here, no person has counterclaimed. The Mafia here usually doesn't take roles unless they know its safe. Swerve Wrote:Inactives seriously cripple town. If they are scum, then they still might reveal themselves through gameplay. Most mafia here are careful, they don't make mistakes. The same could be said for Overactive players. They tend to sway the townie, as seen in other mafia games. Similarly how Synthesist will probably be townie and the townies are being tricked. The maifa is probably tricking Corn(if he is town) by playing on his dislike of Synthesist. If Synthesist was mafia I think that all the maifa would try to sway the town. They would only need 2 votes for someone else to get no lynch. Then they just got us down to 13ish player if they get a night kill. Why the **** would you join a game where you don't give a ****. ****. First off its Chaotic...just say CJ if you can't spell it. Now, going after inactives is the same as saying "Lets go after the active because they talk to much and are suspicious." As most of you know, death is the only way we know if a player is telling the truth. I think most people know you just trying to get us to post to get us to make a mistake. Most of us don't. Right now we can only go on hints or our gut feelings. Even if we think that someone is something, we can not be to sure. If you feel so strongly about killing inactive you have your chance. Go along with the mafia and vote for Snythesist. If Synthesist is mafia, he probably was just a useless role and is being used to gain the trust of the town, since the mafia could save him. With that I am saying I probably won't vote unless I see a good reason to. |
