Playing Cards Mafia - Town wins - ElectricSix - 2010-11-04 Or if we hit majority before then, which is 8 votes for one person. Playing Cards Mafia - Town wins - Corn - 2010-11-04 Whoever is hooker, block MetaSeraphim. vote Corn Playing Cards Mafia - Town wins - MetaSeraphim - 2010-11-04 [vote] MetaSeraphim Playing Cards Mafia - Town wins - Holypie - 2010-11-04 I am thoroughly confused. And injured. Playing Cards Mafia - Town wins - ElectricSix - 2010-11-04 Day 3 End: Inspector Burgundy Jack was glad to see the cards had come to some consensus, though it had been pretty even between MetaSeraphim and Corn for a while. Oddly enough they even voted for themselves. However, in the end, a Card from the back of the room drew the Inspector aside and handed him an official vote on it. Quote:Very well, it seems as it's been decided. Corn will be sent to the scrap pile today. The Inspector removed the special scissors from his trenchcoat and advanced upon Corn. Quote:I'm just a hot little eight, but if this is what the town wants. So be it, may my death help you find the real killers out there. The Inspector seemed to believe Corn, but even with his misgivings the decision had been made. He quickly snipped Amaranth Eight in twain. Quote:pear Corn: The Inspector mourned the loss of another good, if not so innocent card. Quote:It seems that even now, we continue to kill off good, innocent cards. This cannot continue, we must find the killers. We cannot hope to rely on luck to live on through another night! Corn has died today. Night 3 Begins now. Get those night actions in! Playing Cards Mafia - Town wins - ElectricSix - 2010-11-05 3 Night actions left. Hopefully by sometime tomorrow afternoon they'll all be in so we can start a day early for once. XP Playing Cards Mafia - Town wins - ElectricSix - 2010-11-05 Night 3 has ended, result pms will be out shortly. The night proved to be a deadly one. Ivory Black Nine discovered the head of Inspector Burgundy Jack nailed to the door of the Heart Club. He was just a regular card, but he knew the Inspector would want someone to take charge of the meetings, and so he took down the Inspector's head and went inside to await the rest of the cards. After they arrived he spoke: Quote:Inspector Burgundy Jack was killed last night, another terrible beheading. I want you all to remain calm while I go looking for his body and discuss what we should do. After the announcement, the cards shuffled nervously, but seemed glad that someone was taking charge. Ivory Black Nine went searching for the body of the late Inspector. Eventually he found it, but he didn't find just one body, he also found the remains of Pink Two. It appeared he had been tortured to the point of death. He examined the body of the Inspector first. Quote:pear Dusk: Afterwards he took the Inspectors special scissors with him, for use later on today. He didn't want to do it, but he would honor the memory of the brave Inspector by doing his part to find the killer. He also took a look at the body of Pink Two, but was rather surprised to discover that Pink Two was actually the Bloody Red Ace! Quote:pear xBTAx: It appeared one of the faceless killers now had a face, albeit a heavily mauled one. Ivory Black Nine took the remains of xBTAx with him and tossed it in front of the crowd of Cards awaiting his return. Quote:The Inspector was right to suspect the murders were among us. How many times did we see Pink Two going about his business and not question it? We must find the other killers and take care of them. Let's finish off what the Inspector started! xBTAx and Dusk have died last night. Day 4 begins now, let the voting commence. Playing Cards Mafia - Town wins - MasPan - 2010-11-05 1 mafian down, though we lost our detective in the process. Not sure where to go from here. [][vote]Blaine He targeted Corn the night before we lynched him. Blaine is the other hooker. I intervened and was seduced instead. Playing Cards Mafia - Town wins - Holypie - 2010-11-05 Ah that's better. Yesterday I was under the influence of a persuader who forced me to vote vorn Corn. If that hadn't happened you wouldn't have died. ;_; And Mas, if Blaine is the other hooker shouldn't we be keeping him alive? Hooker is a good role, right? Playing Cards Mafia - Town wins - Dual - 2010-11-05 [vote] MasPan You stated that you were hit by the hooker yesterday, along with Meta, and then nobody died. While Meta redeemed himself in my eyes by voting for himself to try to save Corn, you come in here and vote onto the other hooker. Playing Cards Mafia - Town wins - MasPan - 2010-11-05 Holypie Wrote:Ah that's better. Considering he targeted Corn, who was proven to be town, there's a good possibility that he's mafian. At above, that's because he targeted Corn. Just because he's a hooker doesn't mean he's automatically a townie. It is HIGHLY unlikely that there are 2 town-based hookers. And I was hit by Blaine because I defended Corn. Why the hell would I defend Corn at night if I was mafian? Playing Cards Mafia - Town wins - Dual - 2010-11-05 MasPan Wrote:Not necessarily, they can be town or mafia aligned. Even if he's possibly a mafia-aligned hooker, he didn't know that Corn was a townie until after he roleclaimed, which was after you intervened. The chance of there being two town aligned hookers is low, but considering Corn's role was sort of like a jail-keeper in the sense that he stopped actions used on the person as well, I wouldn't doubt that Blaine is different. Care to explain how you interfered with Blaine's actions? I'm taking my vote off you until I see what you say. Edit: Alright, seeing what you just posted, I guess I can't argue. Defending is definitely townie, so I'll wait for Blaine to come in so I can see if he really is a mafia aligned hooker. Playing Cards Mafia - Town wins - MasPan - 2010-11-05 DualReaver Wrote:Even if he's possibly a mafia-aligned hooker, he didn't know that Corn was a townie until after he roleclaimed, which was after you intervened. I JUST told you - I defended Corn and was hit by Blaine's ability (which was targeted at Corn). And what you said in bold makes no sense - mafia-aligned people know who other mafians are (and by extension, who must be town/neutral). Blaine's ability allows him to prevent abilities used on a player, in some manner or other, and likely prevents their actions as well. I'm leaving for work, and won't be back until early tomorrow morning. My vote stands - Blaine is a hooker who targeted a townie at least once. Given that Corn was a town-aligned hooker, I highly doubt that Blaine is as well, leaving him to be either neutral or mafian. I suspect mafian. Playing Cards Mafia - Town wins - Dual - 2010-11-05 Considering Blaine hasn't posted at all this game, I'll give him some time to say stuff. What you bolded was just me offering the idea that he could be town-aligned and then gone after Corn, not knowing if he was town or mafia. But I agree with you, the chances of there being two town aligned hookers is probably the lowest out of all possibilities. Hopefully Blaine doesn't pull a Synthesist, but if he does, I'll place my vote on him. Playing Cards Mafia - Town wins - Holypie - 2010-11-05 Well, whoever the second hooker is, I was targeted last night. As well as something involving dice. Playing Cards Mafia - Town wins - KajitiSouls - 2010-11-05 So if I understand E6's PM to xBTAx, there's 2 more Mafians? Playing Cards Mafia - Town wins - MasPan - 2010-11-05 I'm gonna go ahead and roleclaim - Matt already pressed me for most of my role (I'm a bit suspicious of him now because of this), so I see no harm (this'll explain what happened for you, Holypie) - I am a blank card. I am a town-friendly neutral (I win if the town wins and I'm still alive). My ability allows me to shield someone each night, with me getting hit by the ability/s targeted at them instead. In exchange, the next night I get to use all abilities that hit me the previous night. I protected Corn 2 nights ago, and was hit by Blaine's seduction. Last night I used the seduce on you, Holypie. In the process, I shielded you from some other ability (I don't know what). If I am targeted by a kill, I will survive long enough to out the person who attacked me - meaning a mafia kill aimed at me is guaranteed to get that mafian revealed. However, this also means that if a vigilante role targets me, they'll look like they're mafian. Last night I protected MetaSeraphim, with the intent of being hit by the detective to confirm my innocence in case of an emergency and allow 2 detections tonight. Unfortunately, Dusk died and nobody targeted MetaSeraphim last night (or, if Dusk did, priority killed him). This might mean that he's mafia aligned, but at this point it could just as easily be that there are too many targets for this to be true. Playing Cards Mafia - Town wins - KajitiSouls - 2010-11-05 So if an ability gets used on you, you don't know what it is, and you'll be using it blindly? o.O; I'm thinking that it's fine to [vote] Blaine, just because he's pulling a Synthesist. I figure the story between the people involved will eventually resolve for the better, and I'm not really sure what to do. Playing Cards Mafia - Town wins - MasPan - 2010-11-05 KajitiSouls Wrote:So if an ability gets used on you, you don't know what it is, and you'll be using it blindly? o.O; No, I will know exactly what the ability is and who used it. I was protecting myself by not revealing too much about my ability when I said I did not know who the other hooker was yesterday. I didn't want to be mistaken for a detective. However, now that 1 mafian is dead, a mafia kill on me would reveal another one, leaving 1-2 and amazing odds for the town. If Blaine is mafian, even better. There still is the matter of a vigilante/neutral killer, but we'll cross that bridge when we get to it (unless it's a mason group kill) |
