I hope you guys are all wrong and i hope this 24 master level is supposed to make the skill easier to get, so in high levels instead of every 10 levels its 5 levels, for example 160 > 165 > 170 >175 >180 >185>190 >195>200
and it matches 24...

Not sure how to get to it but if you make a Private Server it's there.

Cygnus just got thrown into the pomegranate piles when Blessing worked on all characters. There ended up being no point to a character that ended at level 120.

Oh, and in case anyone hasn't noticed:
160 x 6 = 960
200 x 5 = 1000
ohi SP values that are nearly the same.

I'm pretty sure it's only 870 points because they get 6 from 1-70

Lmao, what?
IIRC, in private servers the EXP TNL from 200-201, 201-202, etc etc is the same as 199-200

It's called Private Servers raising on their own level cap and adding their own experience tables?

Heck, I'm calling bs on the adding their own experience tables part, because I've never seen any.

[1.2.340] Full Lionheart Castle - Saar331 - 2010-09-08

Oh also, if the max level is really 240 now, it will probably end with 20 bilion exp needed... well makes sense to me.

you forget the new accuracy formula means that even if you have 2 million accuracy, your 160 character's hit rate on a level 180 monster (Pink Bean) would be 0%.

Now that i'm thinking about this i doubt it's a rebirth as in "Delete the Cygnus and replace it with an identical level 1 Adventurer". It's probably more like the original Cygnus creation method, where you take your main character to Ereve and have them create a new character for you that's earmarked as "Ultimate adventurer". That way you're getting a headstart on an adventurer, not losing your cygnus, and it will specially mark the beginner from the start in the same way DB was.

See those level 60 stuffs in the extraction? That is referenced elsewhere. This same file is used when creating a new character:

 Spoiler

Dual Blade - an adventurer and not an adventurer at the same time.

The only boss a lvl160 UA wouldn't be able to kill is lvl180 pink bean (and some lvl200 end game boss some time later-on).

Getting to lvl200 is too boring for most people anyway (especially after leeching / AOE spamming is impossible after big bang).

So I would say that UA's are the new Cygnus of post big bang! Being able to do -near- anything, but then -better- then their adventurer counterparts! Tongue

Like i said, not my problem.

Polka Wrote:if you can't get to 200 then you're useless. there are some exceptions with people who go crazy with potential but really that can be beaten with a well potentialed 200 so yeah. they're replacing a useless system with a slightly less useless system but anyone who has their eyes on the prize will still make an adventurer/legendary/resistance because 160 doesn't cut it, and the amount of effort it takes to just stop at 160 is astonishing.

Why is it necessary to get to 200 to fight a boss like zakum or HT? UAs will obviously be stronger than adventurers until the adventurer gets to a much higher level that the UA can't reach. Like it is now for cygnus. o.o I wasn't saying that they're not useless for bosses that are above their level. Cygnus can't fight any boss higher than zakum and pap. By rebirthing the cygnus and becoming a UA, you can level it up to fight the stronger bosses and make your adventurer stronger by giving them cygnus skills.

You're still not understanding the point of the system. If the system does work this way, it isn't supposed to be for making original characters useless.

Polka Wrote:really? you'd delete your 163 bucc just to get 2 new barely useful skills?

You're b'itching to me about being unclear when you can't even understand what my point here is?

I said DITCH, not DELETE. I have a 120 dawn warrior. If the system works this way, the DW would be made into a UA, and i would level it up for soul driver on my buccaneer. If what you suggested is true (rebirthing into characters that can reach 200 and are stronger than adventurers), then i and many others would just level the UA to 200 and stop playing adventurers. Not that it will ever happen, because that's clearly not what NK has in mind here. Why would you think i would delete my character when i never used that word?

[1.2.340] Full Lionheart Castle - Combattente - 2010-09-08

I have a level 120 Dawn Warrior, too.

Might make an Ultimate Adventurer, if it's what most people are assuming it is. Maybe not take it to 160, but just make it for fun.

you need to be accountable for yourself. it is your problem if you're not being clear.

most people don't play cygnus as they are because they're useless. adding 40 levels might make them a little less useless but inevitably new stuff will come out and they'll be back to where cygnus are now. why would anyone persevere through all of that when you can just make an adventurer/legendary/resistance and know for a fact if any new content comes out, you'll be able to participate (disregarding anything to do with connections because that's a player problem, not a class problem). you'll have leveled 300 times and still won't be able to do everything. allowing people to make rebirthed cygnus turn into a level 200 adventurer won't make regular adventurers useless. regular adventurers would have one less attacking skill -- one that doesn't matter by 4th job, and one less passive buff, for a few extra attack, but they'll have persevered through less to get there so why should they get it? potential system makes small bonuses like that unimportant anyway. saying that would make adventurers useless is a massive overstatement.

i misread a single word, sorry. ditching and deleting are effectively the same thing because eventually your new character would completely overshadow your old one, anyway. players wouldn't stop playing adventurers because not everyone cares about a single small buff, as i stated previously. creating an adventurer would just be skipping a step for a small sacrifice. it's not as if the rebirthing process would keep all of your assigned points from your days as a cygnus. so that buff is the only thing making them "stronger" and a decently potentialed equip on your current character means more than that possibly could anyway.

if that buff is such a large concern to you that you would ditch/delete/abandon/move away from your current character in order to obtain it then that's really your problem (LET ME BE CLEAR: NOT YOU SPECIFICALLY BUT ANYONE WHO THINKS THIS IS AN ISSUE) not nexon's

...pineapple. Forgot that they got 5 SP from then on out.
(69 x 6) + (90 x 5) = 864
Still not that bad, though.

More info on those adventurers! D:

Also, is that blessing thing really changed for Cygnuses? That's gonna be interesting...

And I bet that skill with 16 levels is gonna have something to do with it...

[1.2.340] Full Lionheart Castle - jhk005 - 2010-09-08

Hi, I've been coming here for awhile to get the newest information on KMST before anyone else since I play on KMS and 100% fluent in Korean. Now I am going to try to pay a little back by clarifying some stuff here.

First of all you can be 100% certain that there will be no increase in level cap. The cygnus blessing reaches level 24 since it levels up for every 5 lvls cygnus character gains as some have already specified.
Second, according to patch information you can create UA through the cygnus NPC once the cygnus character reaches level 120 and becomes 기사단장 (I don't know what they call it in GMS but its when you receive the final medal).
Lastly, although this involves some speculation on my part, UA's maximum level is most likely 200. As you can see under Quests, you get the first level up for a skill at level 60 and last at level 200 which is a total of 15 level ups and is consistent with the max level of the UA skill.

...thanks for clearing that up.

Now I need to get my Cygnus to 120.

FFFFFFFFFFFFFFUuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu

The skill being level 16 has to do with it's description tho.
Soul Diver:소환된 미하일이 소울의 힘을 땅으로 스며들게 하여 다수의 적을 4번 연속 공격한다. 레벨 10 오를때 마다 스킬레벨이 1 상승한다.
Bla bla bla bla uses MP to attack a monster 4 times with the strength of your soul bla bla bla. Once each 10 levels, the skill level rises by 1.

Basically, it's exactly like the blessing skill. Once your character levels up 10 times, you get one point into that skill. They're just upgraded versions of the Cygnus skills.Since the max level of the skill is 16, and you gain 1 point per 10 levels, this means their max level is 160.

So Cygnus rebirths into an ultimate adventurer?

I raff.

>max level raised to 240
>implies 5th job will come out

Hellllll yeahhhhhhhhhh. I knew they would do this with the new EXP curve. I hope Paladins get good skills. Goggleemoticon

And what is this about Cygnus Knights? I haven't read this entire topic yet, so yeah. I have a lv120 Dawn Warrior sitting on my account collecting dust, so it'll be very good if they make an extension to CKs.

If you look under Quests you can find "60 레벨 스킬지급" which means "Level 60 Skill Allowance" and its quest description translates into "You gained 1 level in UA skills" so its most likely that you get the first level in UA skill once it is created and first level up at level 60 and every 10 levels there after
until you reach level 200 where the UA skill would reach max level at 16 as well.

and you can also see that same Quest exists every 10 levels until 200.
