good thing I didn't have much cash/nx laying around yesterday so i only did some microscale merchanting that netted me ~400m profit by reselling chaos scrolls
I was thinking maybe rebuy like 60 chaos with my 600m left on my account...good thing I didn't cuz those hackers went offline and all those noob merchant were whoring chaos like crazy buying at 30m each in scania before i left lmfao
btw i heard u will get banned if u have even one non-legit chaos on ur account..is that true?
and where did all the NX/meso go now all the hardcore hackers/merchants are banned?

Thankfully one of the few times I got on maple didn't get me banned. To hell with trying to upgrade equips

If you didn't browse forums, you wouldn't even know that this was going on. According to Nexon, those who browse forums are a minority. By that definition, most players would just believe that scrolls were getting cheap.
It wasn't as obvious as the HT pendant glitch. Even the Jr.Newtie red token glitch was more obvious, and that would be something that most normal players wouldn't think of as a glitch at all.

It's good to see nexon actually do something about an in-game issue, though.
edit @spidey: yes, it is obvious. When a scroll that was previously 100m drops down to 5m there's something obviously wrong. There's absolutely no way people were hitting 70 fast enough to get stacks of 100 legit chaos scrolls. The sheer numbers of the scrolls makes it obvious. There is no scroll in the game that has that kind of bulk besides maybe GFAs.

No, it isn't. Not to the average casual player. If I didn't browse the forums I wouldn't know at all. The HT pendant required you to glitch it yourself, and you probably wouldn't have done it unless you've heard about it. I didn't even go to the FM at all while this was going on, so I'm not "justifying my abuse" at all.
If you just sign in and go to the FM seeing a bunch of cheap scrolls from some seller, you'd just want to take advantage of it.

Casual players typically don't have 500m mesos to buy a stack of 100 chaos scrolls. If they do have 500m mesos there's a PRETTY GOOD CHANCE theyknow the games economy (unless they've been buying mesos in which case they deserve to be banned anyway.) If I go into the FM and see all stores flooded with a single item, I'm either going to think that item must be worthless or that something is seriously wrong. No item fills up every store with that mass. The people buying these up are the ones who know all about chaos scrolls, and implicit with that is knowing that something's up when you see so many.
The only people who I feel bad for are ones with legit scrolls that lost them in the MTS.

Ok now hold up a second. Are you seriously trying to say that if you are a casual player, someone who only comes on say......once a week or hell even once a month, you're not going to look at the chaos prices and go WTH? You're not going to ask your buddy list or guild "Hey what's up with the cheap chaos scrolls?" Anyone with a single ounce of common sense would have realized there was a major issue with the chaos scrolls and steered way clear of them.
On the other hand, those who simply got caught up in the mess of Nexon's epic failings, I feel for you all. Those who intentionally glitched this, *smack upside the head* WTH were you thinking?? Maple has enough problems without people ADDING more to the pile of seriously broken things in the game.
