No, that's a very good line and it's used several times in the VN. The cry of the seagulls marks the moment of their salvation...hopefully before it's too late. The absence of the seagulls is one of the very first things that foreshadows the terror that is going to befall them. Their return would signal a return to normality (meaning storm would end and a boat would be able to come get them).

Fight Ippatsu! Juuden-Chan!! 01: Looks like there's no censor to begin with, except for that one scene in the bath with that damndable censorfog. Once again, thwarting my loli-bewb-viewing pleasure. ED is full of uncensored nipples. Hell, there were two islands with a bridge that were shaped and coloured as breasts, and you could see the colour through the see-through part of Aresta's uniform.
