Okay, first off, that was a bit dirts to not tell Twi in person. And enter Song 1. Nice to see Filly Twi again..
As for Twilight, I knew how she feels. I'm heading to a wedding in which the Sister of the Bride feels...uneasy about her sister marrying someone she also knew...but feels like something isn't right.
Moving right along, something told me something wasn't REALLY right with Candnce right off the bat first off. If she can do stuff like create love spells, why is she so cold? And if she was Twi's foalsitter, the least she could have done was TRY to remember. She was Discorded or something...
Nearing the end of Part 1, I was so right that she was corrupted...But Part 2 told me otherwise..
Oh, and there's a gem mine below canterlot, Luna cannon (In the voice of rarity:"YES!") and the songs were..eh, but it's meaningful..

Part Two, you defied every single theory I had when out came in the REAL Candnce.
Wow. So we find the REAL Candnce in the mine, which pretty much sums up we have a impostor on our hands..(In the words of Fluttershy:"yay.")
The fight scenes were just...funny. Does this count as a Catfight? (Or well, a MANEfight?) And we can all sum uparty Cannons and Magic is OP. haha.
One thing that bothered me was who the HECK are the Changelings? WHERE did they come from, and WHY Canterlot. Oh well. And yes, that was stupid to tell Celestia your WHOLE plan...but then to only whoop her behind. Which leaves me with one big question...
Does that make Love > or = to the Elements of Harmony? If it can take a Princess and wipe Canterlot clean, what else can it do?
But at least everything ended well...And to make it 20% cooler, DJ-Pon-3/Vinyl makes her first and only appearance this season...Way to go off with a bang..Or in this case, a Sonic Rainboom.

Very well done, songs/reprises galore, and the spoilers didn't really tell us anything at all after all. And all that suspense...haha.

The ending was kinda rushed and painful to watch. THE POWER OF LOVE can only go so far. Those Changelings might actually come back since they weren't really dead or disappeared into thin air. Just knocked right across the land. The first & last song wasn't that great IMO, but the villain songs were alright.

Regardless, the rest of the episode was spectacular. The epic battle, those little continuities, the middle is the best. And Luna only showed up at night, that sorta makes sense. Wish they explained why she only comes at night nowadays and didn't help stop the evil Cadance. But alas, it leaves a great impression of me which it probably will last throughout the whole summer. Season 3 here we come!

Machine Gun Twilight is best Twilight. I really can't say that I saw any of that coming, but I enjoyed ever second of it. I did totally call Rarity freaking out over the bouquet, though.
Cadance was a much better character then I expected as well.

Is it just me, or are Shiny's eyes always... off? I dunno, but they just always look odd to me, regardless of Alien Mind Control

Amazing finale, they're definitely going to be in my top favorites for a while. Looking forward to Season 3!
