While I think it'd work out fine on 3DS, I'd still rather avoid it being a thing myself.

Also, a new character enters the game.
Back when this was posted, nobody mentioned the rest of it?

I wonder if that means Pikachu could bring it crashing down more easily?

Thunder without hitting you and then jump on the stage ropes to escape

Just when I thought the boxing ring stage would be a stage without hazards...

Lol, reminds me of burning kirby

Pretty awesome that it's damage on contact and on on use. Though it might also mean you take damage if you hit a hazard or projectile so it may not be that great to use all the time.

Depend on how far it can travel, flare blitz can possibly be used for horizontal recovery. Let's hope the recoil damage isn't too high.

That seems risky, but entirely possible. There don't seem to be THAT MANY "big men" in smash 4 so hopefully charizard can survive quite a bit longer than he did before to compensate for the damage he would get from recoil during recovery/offense. He obviously still has his glide, so that's good too as far as recovery options go.

Sakurai Wrote:Pic of the day. The unexpected Assist Trophy, the TV-Game 15! Color TV-Game 15 is a home entertainment system that was released in 1977 in Japan before the release of Space Invaders. This is the oldest game to join the Smash Bros. series.

Additional Comment:
Sakurai Wrote:Normally, controllers for these types of games had knobs with variable resistors--these allowed the players to control in-game movement by how far they twisted the knobs. The TV-Game 15 used microswitches instead. We've worked a little too hard to reenact the behavior of the original, so the paddles always move in linear paths with the same, consistent speed. We pay attention to such peculiar details!

Really, though, I just love alternate skins that aren't just a recolor and gender changing is a plus when it comes to customizable characters. Big Grin

Now give me the option to be a female Pokemon Trai-- actually Pokemon Trainer's pretty much dead, isn't he? Rolleyes

I personally didn't like the playstyle of Pokemon Trainer anyway, it was weird to me. Sad

Super Smash Bros. Wii U and 3DS Discussion - Phoenix Wright - 2014-05-16

I infinitely prefer individual Pokemon instead of Pokemon Trainer. Being forced to switch them was weird; because if you didn't like one of the Pokemon you might as well just not play Pokemon Trainer at all.
