I'm disappointed on the looks of the captains, They all look goofy except for that chick that looks like Soi Fong. And lol at Kubo making up facts to back up that plot on Ichigo's sword.

Well one think is definitive, Isshin powers are above any current captain of the Gotei 13. To me that makes pretty plausible for him to be a part of the Zero squad who quit for his own reasons (falling for a quincy maybe?).

Really good chapter got a bit of info on each of the members in the zero squad and how they played a part in molding the gotei 13. The zero squad came once before hope we find out what happened at that time.
Also it seems they are going to bring back all the main bad asses of bleach (war potentials) . I bet they are going to train all of them to become stronger

Those goofy personalities seem like one more factor to back up my theory that Isshin used to be an imperial guard. He just fits perfectly among them.
I was about to start jumping when I read those last lines and I thought it was Isshin joining the squad... then I read the side text.
Inb4 "Ichigo I dictate you join the imperial guard and fill up the spot your father left...."
Oh well I just wonder why they are taking Byakuya and not Kenpachi. he was supposedly as hurt.

Indeed.
Kenpachi will be an Ensemble Darkhorse. On his own he will heal himself, disappear, get his bankai, and come back during the final battle where he will start killing all the super duper bad guys.
Then the main big bad will kill him so Ichigo will be able to show off his ultimate form of something that looks like that hollow form from Henco Mundo with an energy bow.
But of course Kenpachi doesn't actually die and jumps in to deal the final blow it is showed that making a clone of Kenpachi is the power of Kenpachi's Bankai because the only person strong enough to fight with Kenpachi is Kenpachi himself.

Kukkaku picked up Tsuroshima and the other fullbringers and are training them for the war.
Ichigo getting his sword reforged.
In other words, setup for everyone vs the Quincies.

What I don't understand is how the fullbringers would even be worth anything. Kenpachi cut one of them in half and he lived? The f`uck. The rest I just assumed.

I've said it before, the fullbring arc was rushed, probably because they wanted Kubo to finish ASAP as Bleach wasn't doing well in ratings. So none of the characters got any character or power development. They'll just go through the same power creep as everyone else (except Orihime and Chad) in the manga goes through.
Also since they were humans, when they died, I guess they were picked up and sent to Rukongai like any other stranded soul.

And by the end of the day, he'll still only know or use Getsuga Tenshou.

More like chances of ichigo having his reitsu take the qualities of whatever force is reforging his blade, resulting in higher form of bankai which may also be the same power that makes the zero squad so strong.
