Ask a Pirate Thread - Vernacular - 2009-06-21 What I do is; If I don't have energy then I jump around and shark into big mobs. I can get energy back quite fast, 4 or 5 casts of sharks sometimes, and don't forget the sparks too. ![]() Once I have the big mob any stragglers left around I CSP into the mob and then buster them all down. Also if there are any singles around on the bottom plat then I CSP into them to move faster and then shark to make mob. So yea its a shark to mob buster to kill method. Transformation makes moving a lot easier and killing. It felt weird the first level using it but now I'm used to. Kinda scared Ima have a seizure from all the flashy colors when I'm in transform. xD Now this method is getting me 30%/hr now, I used to get 45%/hr around level 78. Take this method and apply to your gMS hot spots.

At Evil dead (high 8x-low 9x) the way to train on a marauder is basically like this. Training there with a striker would probably involve you standing on either side spamming shark wave and moving to the other side occasionally, but staying on the right would probably work wonders. Estimated %/h at 90: 40%. At Lower Ascent (70-high 8x) as a marauder you do what this guy does around 3:30. As a striker you'd just have to work your way down the map using sharks. Though i would think killing stormbreakers would be awesome if you just turned off lightning charge, but we'll have to see. Estimated %/h in 7x: 4x-5x%. Estimated in 8x: 3x%. At Path of peril (9x-100+) as a marauder is like this. Strikers would be RIDICULOUS here because you don't have to be as close the the typhons as marauders do. You just have to hit them. Sparks will be AMAZINGLY USEFUL here because of it's range, which i think will help hit typhons above the ones you're hitting, gathering a bigger mob. Estimated %/h in 9x: 3x%. Estimated in 100+: 25-30%. Then there's himes, which will last till 120. Map is exactly like C-2, except a little wider and the monsters are way faster and mob more. Gobies suck for strikers because they have no 1v1 abilities at all except flash fist. Lightning resistance hurts them even more on top of that. What the pineapple do you think they did with the past 91 skill points? Shoved it up their ass? My estimate puts it at around level 94. And if you want to go earliest when you can take a hit, try it at level 60 then. Enjoy SDing the map with your godly Soul Master who has 300 accuracy and can do enough damage against the 26% damage reduction to actually kill things. Matt maxed it first (because it pwns at gobies), lol, followed by combo and soul charge. But he also found out that brandish maxes @30 instead of 20, and he only had 21 SP into it at 100. He's gonna max panic last, because combo is pretty useless (SD is stronger). Also, my question is: what's the delay for barrage between uses, and do delays lower with wind booster? Another: Does wind booster get you to the speed cap with only lvl 1 with any certain knuckles? Compared to barr -> DU -> FF -> barr and CSB -> DU -> barr -> CSB -> DU -> barr, it's a huge upgrade from what it was. Delays don't lower with wind booster. In GMS, wind booster gets you to the speed cap. In KMS, it probably won't. You should max wind booster anyway. Ask a Pirate Thread - Mark - 2009-06-22 You can get 40 accuracy from maxing Bullet Time and Knuckle Mastery. If you want to be really safe just raise your Dex to 50 and invest in Dex equipment. Not much else I can do to help. There's an accuracy calculator in the Warrior subforum I believe. Edit: Just go here. It's made for Warriors, but it's useful for Brawlers too.
