I think it was sort of not well thought out on Nexon's part to release the x3 exp/drop event before they had a handle on what's happening with the servers. Goggleemoticon I mean, I got all my rings done and I find myself agreeing with the people who have posted so far claiming that it's better, but the lag does spike, a lot. And that better not be Nexon's new normal. Sad. The first two spikes I went through didn't d/c me, although it's awful boring just sitting there for several minutes. The last one did though. And there's some message that pops up occasionally when the lag does spike; something about being overloaded and wanting me to try again later.

This was overall a good response and improved the state of the economy that would have gone to shit if this measure wasn't taken.

I noticed they took down their most recent USC notice, the one that talked about them testing the stability of their servers. I wonder if we should be gearing up for yet another USC to address this horrendous lag? I sure hope so. Don't get me wrong, I think it's great that channels aren't being taken down anymore and all, but the game is almost equally unplayable when the lag really starts to spike.
