Also it's intended to be that once you level up a skill, the only way to take it back is to use a reset. I'd advise for you to remake that character unless you've already spent NX on it or something because it's not hard to hit 15 and that issue might cripple your character later. So, the SP cap for a Cleric is 87? Because if that's the case then why did they allow me to use 115+ points before? Because if that's the case then why did they allow me to use 115+ points before? SP cap isn't 87. It splits the total SP between 1st and 2nd Job when you advance. Original Dragon Nest Thread - 案山子 - 2011-09-09 Pro-tip: Never do Abyss if you don't have a key. Ever. Don't have a key? Do Master runs until your ass gets one. Got a key? Enjoy Abyss, member! This guarantees you never have the heart-crushing moment of, ''zomg, i ain't got no keys! =('' when the Gold Rabbit appears. --- This has been a Public Service Announcement by a fellow Chinnie ![]() (Give them the toast Chinnie) /Chinnie gives them the toast ![]()
Original Dragon Nest Thread - Kevin - 2011-09-09 Netto Wrote:So, the SP cap for a Cleric is 87? Because if that's the case then why did they allow me to use 115+ points before? Here's the deal: before you specialize, you can use all of your SP on your first job (Cleric). After you specialize though, the SP limit for each of your jobs (Cleric, Paladin) is 5/8ths of your total SP pool, rounded down. The same rule applies to the second job advancement. If you have a level 15 or under, the rabbit always drops a key. I prefer to have at least 2 keys while doing that or else the position of the key shifts depending on the drops you get. You just need a key for golden rabbit. Normal rabbit always drops the key whether you have one already or not. Original Dragon Nest Thread - Alilatias - 2011-09-09 So I finally got my Mystic to Level 24, and decided to do all 7 mino runs today before the counter resets tomorrow. Got 5 gold boxes out of those seven runs. The most valuable thing? ![]() It was even crafted with extra magic damage! I wonder, what are the chances of crafting a plate with extra stats like that? 案山子 Wrote:Pro-tip: Never do Abyss if you don't have a key. Ever. The problem with that is the game sometimes decides to be mean to you and not drop any keys over the course of, say, 10 master runs. And if you're running for red army commander seals, you are forced to use a key since the seals only come from the bunnies. Of course, you could drop off your key at the bank, but then what happens when a gold bunny shows up while you're looking for seals and that key is in the bank? Or you could just not activate the bunny at all, but then you won't get any red army commander seals. >_> Original Dragon Nest Thread - Holypie - 2011-09-09 That's a nice crest. Third stats on a crest are fairly rare but the chances are increased when you get Bailey to 100 fondness (not implemented). Mystics are great in Nest, I love mine. Mobile, good damage, grouping ability. I die too much on my elementalist to be of any use. If you don't have a key then don't bother with Abyss because if you get a Gold Rabbit appearance then you're pineappleing screwed. Only a fool would risk going in without a key, at least after the first mistake has been made. Forget the key once, shame on you; forget the key twice, just get the pineapple out. Also, the guaranteed key works in any dungeon with Abyss, people just use Valley of Mourning because it only takes a couple minutes to complete. Once you run out of keys just do Master runs till you get more and repeat. 10 runs? Big deal, dungeons take a few minutes at most. It's not like getting Seals is ''urgent'', Mino Nest fucking sucks ass, it's just another mini-game. Original Dragon Nest Thread - Kaasoljoyyx - 2011-09-10 Not having a key on abyss isn't the end of the world. I rage harder when I get a gold bunny and get stupid wisdom of the owl or something. Sometimes I abyss without any keys. Original Dragon Nest Thread - Moonlapse - 2011-09-10 Sorry for the noob question, but how do you roll when youre knocked down? My char stays down for like 5 seconds :x. Original Dragon Nest Thread - Netto - 2011-09-10 Moonlapse Wrote:Sorry for the noob question, but how do you roll when youre knocked down? It's definitely not the end of the world, but it's a mistake that can be easily prevented and unfortunately some players don't and it comes to bite them in the ass. I'm just looking out. ![]() Also, just started playing Chinese DN as a ''side-project''. I like it, it's giving me something to do while I wait for NA to update because there's literally nothing left to do for me right now until we get the new content; then I'll basically no-life on DN NA again.

You can change direction once as well. Original Dragon Nest Thread - Alilatias - 2011-09-10 I wonder if every class has a different roll. I've seen my Sorceress crawl sometimes (which is infuriatingly slow, but I guess it's to position yourself to use the rising attack), and I've lately begun to notice that if I tap sideways like crazy on my Priest, he rolls, slides back on his feet, and continues moving. Haven't noticed anything special about the archer or warrior yet though.
