I made the mistake of entering Shadow Thunderland on normal mode and didn't want to waste time, so I purposely let myself die. THEN I found out about a fun little stat called "frustration". Ffffffffffffffff------------ Mad That took me even MORE time to eliminate than if I just cleared normal mode and hopped back to Expert Road or higher.

No, I will not pay 8k gold to eliminate frustration from the tavern lady.

On the other hand if you DID complete Shadow Thunderland, you waste fatigue. Which one's more precious to you, fatigue or time?

I am sure many of you guys have seen this but I am posting it anyway. 0:23-0:27 kind of makes me want to make a female Gunner.

Brb, lolling.

Voice wasn't even hot.

Ugh. Last night I went to do GBL Arad Branch Master's with a fighter. I waste two of my own tokens res'ing him because he didn't get out of the way of the spirit explosions or interrupt the casting by whacking Isadora. After he died the third time, I wised up and saved my last token for myself, which I ended up using. I eventually kill Isadora.

I check my quest status after, and IT DIDN'T COUNT! I wasted all my tokens, all of my (few) hp pots, and all of my (few) mp pots and it didn't even count towards the quest. Hothead

I later did a King's run with a full party. The first spirit explosion killed half the party, and they didn't have tokens. I hung in there for a while but was eventually killed, leaving a fighter to solo, who put up a great fight but died with Isadora at something like 2 hp bars left.

The day wasn't all bad though...I pulled a +6 level 40 purple cross from a pot.

lol wow, is there some kind of secret to making this game run properly on vista or something?

Tried to run it on a computer with vista business last night, and stopped the 7z.exe error coming up, but the game just randomly closed at that same time anyway...

I guess if I want to play it I'll have to get XP running on one of my laptops Sad

Original General Dungeon Fighter Thread - Pomegranate - 2009-10-23

I run it fine on vista.

Original General Dungeon Fighter Thread - IllegallySane - 2009-10-23

Finally got screenies running, but only on my desktop. My laptop is just borked.

You know she's in super armor when she starts casting crap right? Well, most of the time she is anyways.

Mount Thunderime is just awesome xD Lots of "grind" quests though, kinda like MS. And some enemies there just have waaaay too much life >_> Quite literally we spend half the time in some rooms just killing an ice spirit with default attacks.

 lvl 40 recipe

Just discovered low kick cancel = bone crusher cancel, and I'm absolutely loving it, totally worth getting low kick to 10, plus low kick has a place in my regular combo now, WIN Cool

Btw which is better, one with 270physical atk, or one with 223physical atk + 47 piercing damage?

Piercing. They total to the same attack and piercing negates 10 def every 1 piercing. They do the same damage on an enemy with 0 defense though.

LOL!

Haha, OH WOW. I lol'd hard at this midboss' name. I sure hope he's awesome. He better not be a disgrace to my name! Gonna go check out the Hatchery now.

Original General Dungeon Fighter Thread - Mark - 2009-10-23

This is what happens when I run out of fatigue for the day.

 Also this.

Original General Dungeon Fighter Thread - FelixTM - 2009-10-23

Sweet Jesus. What the HELL at Hatchery. Dead bodies everywhere... Zombies... Necromancers... Strange things RIDING OCTOPUS. Freaky Kyle is an OCTO GBL zealot. I am disappoint. Why couldn't I have been that Necromancer dude?

The boss...wow. First off, awesome (especially how he stabs himself to bring fallen zealots back to life). I thought the battle was insanely easy. I thought it was gonna be a pushover... Then WHAT. That priest came back to life, the boss called back all the Ministers...then rape happened fast. I lost two tokens just to barely win (on NORMAL mode). Wow I need to be more careful next time. Crazy...

Original General Dungeon Fighter Thread - Zephyr - 2009-10-23

I just figured out the pots are level based... oh well, i did get many fragments from the lvl 1-10 pots... now i just need blue dark and white to get kanna's title...

Also, anyone can tell me what are the difference between elementalist and witch? and, is battle mage worth it?

Original General Dungeon Fighter Thread - FelixTM - 2009-10-23

Look at this crap:

Those screenshots hardly show HALF the total monsters that were in there. In the 2nd one, there was at least double that many Stickles ALIVE (rest were over to the left, which is where I ran from). I was trying to focus on the Lotus Spawn. It's impossible. I truly believe those Lotus Spawn rooms are impossible solo. I burned a ton of pots and died both times with hardly any success... He MASS spawns over and over and over. There's even NPC teammates you can get in those rooms. They die VERY fast. And this was only on Expert...

Kajiti, have you done these Lotus Spawn rooms solo or with a party? Do any quests require going in them?

Original General Dungeon Fighter Thread - Spaz - 2009-10-23

I partied with MasPan today. Big Grin There was this weird glitch was where once of his bullets got stuck on the map and stayed there, even after leaving the room and coming back. If either of us ran into the bullet, we'd take damage.

 Spoiler

The boss of First Spine was MADE for launchers. MasPan took it down quickly, even on King's.

Original General Dungeon Fighter Thread - mrcowcow - 2009-10-23

There's a pretty easy method for Launchers to defeat Great He'etako by making it aggro, but unable to get to the other side of the table thing. Launchers have many stuff that can go through objects. How'd Mas take it down?
