He wanted a cheap weapon so xbow is probably one of the cheaper ones. Plus longbows are ridiculously expensive.

Just require the Duo Achievement for Conquered Mino Nest.

Was so close last night with my Guild Leader Acro but the boss cheesed us at like 2/8th of his last bar.

Original Dragon Nest Thread - Reako - 2011-09-06

I find myself going for that achievement right now. Just need Ultimate Pacifist whenever I feel like making the effort. I feel pretty "done" with the current content otherwise, and Jealous Atrium is a big load of BS that can't be beaten without insane skills for the level (it was intended for level 30 players aka not us) I noticed gear is meaningless in the Atrium as well, so you can't epic your way through it.

Got my Mystic to level 22, and decided that I might as well start up a Warrior. Thing is, I know absolutely nothing about Warriors, but I'm already thinking about making him into a Mercenary since it seems almost every Warrior I run into is already a Swordmaster, so... Eh.

Are Mercenaries that bad, or are they just more difficult to play? The few Mercenaries that I've partied with in Mino Nest seem to do exceptionally well, and it looks like they have some really powerful debuff skills. Maybe I'll try out hammer Mercenary, although it sounds like I'll need a ton of crit for that to be effective. Eh, I'll figure something out.

Just started the other day.

What class is good for solo play? Preferrably I would like to play a male character.

mercenaries are pretty godly as is, SM's are late bloomers, we only get 3 good wave skills as is. mercs go a bunch of debuffs at low level.

Mercenary isn't bad, but it's slower and the attacks tend to only hit once.

Swordsman is for speed, Mercenary is for brute force. You'll have an easy time stunning monsters with a Mercenary, especially if you go with hammer, however hammers are very slow and attack awkwardly making it harder to keep a combo at times, but good for keeping monsters off balance.

Swordsmen aren't late bloomers, it's just at this cap going pure Moonlord path is foolish, either hybrid path or pure Gladiator path until more magic skills are available. We get free resets from that quest anyway. Magic attack is much harder to build up for a Warrior in general, and this low cap doesn't help.

My Gladiator-path Swordsman rips everything to shreds, so far my other characters don't compare.

Warriors are your best bet, but clerics are a good alternative. Your choice, really. I have a cleric, and I rarely party with others.

Also, don't listen to the guy above. He likes the moon and panties.

If you don't mind the femaleness, Elementalist is the go to character for soloing. The damage from elementalists is ridiculous, everything dies in one or two skills.

From what I've seen, either of the Cleric classes really cannot die. However, their damage is a bit on the low side, but that doesn't really matter when survivability matters more than damage when you're soloing. Should you decide to try partying, the Cleric classes still have a lot to offer to parties as well.

Yeah. A forum I was reading said that priests are great PvE but bad PvP, and paladins are great at PvP. So far I have a level 5 cleric and I hope to grow it further. Also, a buid chart I was using went up to level 40, but it seems you max out at 24. Anybody know whats up with that.

Also, who do I contact to get into Pineapples? Smile

Just get to level 20. The CS event is still going on for some reason and it gives you 2 rows free inventory and 2 rows free storage ;D I can get to level 10 in about an hour, so it shouldn't be too bad if you just masters/hard run through everything.

Dragon Nest doesn't have just a set cap from beginning to end, it grows over time. Currently, since our version is new, it's Lv24.

The cap coming next is 32, then 40, then 50.

The event was ninja-changed and no longer gives Inventory Expansions, only Storage.

Can't wait until lv40 comes out. Only build guide I could find was up to level 40. Anybody got some priest builds up to 24?

Also, we should get an IGN list so I know who you people are.

I just build to 50 and fit my level 24/32/40 builds to that final build.
