Fairy Tail Thread (Spoilers) - iVege - 2014-07-04

Lozmaster Wrote:Something doesn't add up. I think he's still lying, at least about something, not sure what yet.

I don't think that Deloria would :

1) Have given Lisanna clothes to cover up her nakedness
2) Would have been visiting a grave in his first appearance as silver
3) When he visited the jail cell to do (2), he said "Natsu, of all people..." as he walked away. That seems like an odd thing for Deloria to say or care about.

I'm glad. It would be stupid if Silver = Deliora was all it was.

I also hope it's not as little as just their personalities mixing. If so, not only is that uninteresting, there's the probability that it'll just be used to incapacitate Deliora for a bit so Gray could defeat him.

Anyway, it's clear that Gray has some catching-up to do. Natsu and Erza are already monsters, while people like Wendy and Gajeel have become quite powerful themselves thanks to their own power-ups. Not sure about Lucy since hers was temporary, but she still had her time to shine and her catching up to the likes of Natsu or Erza at this point isn't happening and shouldn't happen. It's a shame that Gray is so weak despite being rivals with Natsu (they more much more equal earlier in the series). I'm not sure if he's even nearly as strong as base Natsu.

It would be cool if he learnt Ice Demon Slaying Magic, but at the same time that would be stupid. And I wonder how you learn it. Dragon Slayers learn it from dragons, and God Slayers learn it from gods (we don't really know who Chelia or Orga learnt their magic from, but I suppose someone they admire greatly). Deliora himself is a demon, so perhaps he taught it to his own human body? Idk.

And man, Dragon Slayers really are losing their lustre at this point. Silver even referred to it as Slayer Magic lul. Dragon Slaying Magic, nothing more than a subset. Though it does have a backstory unlike the others so far. And yet it seems to be inferior to God Slaying Magic. I wonder where Demon Slaying Magic stands between the three.

Chelia learnt it from a book she got from some guy at the magic council.

The Bible, perhaps.

Anyway I guess you can just learn God Slaying from whatever. Perhaps even the other Slayer Magics too, just that they weren't written in books (but in the brains of dragons for Dragon Slaying).

I guess that thought's no longer interesting.

It does seem a bit silly that dragon slaying magic is held up on a pedestal anymore when the Dragon Slayers were all hilariously bad at Dragon Slaying, and there are at least 2 other magics that share it's unique abilities (Ability to eat an element and to have a strong mouth based attack).

Fairy Tail Thread (Spoilers) - byakugan - 2014-07-04

I would have been ok with Gray winning the fight just with that move as he actually used his brains for this one. Hope this chance wasn't wasted to actually make him win with Nakama force

Was that the introduction of a new slayer magic branch? I don't remember demon slayer magic being mentioned before.

Not before Silver, no, but they did mention it many chapters ago.

I feel like Lyon is going to show up and they are going to doubel team his ass

Fairy Tail Thread (Spoilers) - Lozmaster - 2014-07-05

Wow.

The anime gave less than 5 minutes screentime to Jura vs Laxus. After they wasted 4 whole episodes on the executioners.

As terrible decisions go, that's a pretty big one. Tongue

Fairy Tail Thread (Spoilers) - byakugan - 2014-07-11

Wendy cut her hair and went from looking 13 year old to look 5, wut?

And wtp, was Gray aware Silver was really his father and not Deliora the moment he... killed his own father? I hope not or that Silver stays alive because thats really messed up.

Fairy Tail Thread (Spoilers) - iVege - 2014-07-18

 Spoiler

Wait, so Silver's real name is Gray Sr.?

If so, then why is no one questioning whether the Ice Trail main character actually is the Gray we know from the Fairy Tail guild?

Also, what was the point of this Silver sub-plot? It seemed kinda pointless, unless all of it was just promotional material for the new manga series Ice Trail.

iVege Wrote:Wait, so Silver's real name is Gray Sr.?

I think Silver built a grave for Gray and Mika (presumably Grays mother), whom he thought were dead. He only realised Grey was alive when he saw him at the Grand Magic games.

Oh. Yeah, that makes sense :x

I guess I was jumping to conclusions.

Edit: Looking at the picture again, I realised the "X" was just a rope used to tie the cross together. It makes sense now.

More confirmation that E.N.D. = Evil Natsu Dragnel (or Ecchi Natsu Dragnel)

I really hope Gray is capable of keeping that power up instead of it vanishing like FairyGlitter did on Kana. Showing the characters getting stronger before they fight/beat stronger opponents is much better than simply see them fight and hold their ground out of pure nakama power.

Like juvia Tongue

Fairy Tail Thread (Spoilers) - Lozmaster - 2014-07-26

I think the real problem with juvia is her water power is so inconsistent.

Like, in her first appearance nothing physical could touch her since she could turn into water to avoid attacks, ala a one piece logia user. Why she didn't just phase out of his grip is anyones question.

She also had no problem forcing a water sphere to appear over her opponents heads early on, causing them to lose conciousness, so I have no idea why she didn't do that to this guy (or cheria last arc actually) immediately.

Fairy Tail Thread (Spoilers) - byakugan - 2014-08-01

I suddendly came to wonder why Natsu and Gajeel came to master double element dragon slayer magic before even attempting to master dragon force, and they'll ever try to do it.

For an instant I actually expected them to go Dragon Force.

oh and the ending was silly, way to extend the fight Mashima.

I think permanent access to Dragon force seems to come from bathing in a dragons blood, rather than something they can actively train to do.

Fairy Tail Thread (Spoilers) - iVege - 2014-09-02

That katana attack was pretty cool.

The Kyuukimon sure have lost their hype. I didn't even care much when Gray owned Tempesta.

Is Erza vs Kyouka even supposed to be exciting.

iVege Wrote:Is Erza vs Kyouka even supposed to be exciting.

Is erza vs anyone ever exciting? You already know exactly how it's going to end, because it's going to go down exactly like every fight Erza has had since... at least Edolas.

Man, could you imagine if dragon slaying magic was half as effective as Demon slaying magic? lol
