well my post was mostly emotions talking. I know where to get hacks and bots and could bot up the mesos / sell them for $ easily within two months or so but I refuse to.
it's not something that's even time consuming or anything of that sort. It would make me no better then the people who drove the economy into ruin by making the game Pay to Win and whilst I will not bother investing in godly equips,etc any longer I know alot of people still are so I don't want to make it even harder for them.
also if I start to just make up what I lost it will probably be a slippery slope and I got a few space PCs I could convince myself to keep doing so by telling myself "Hey your a student, you need the money" or other things of that nature. so I'd rather just stay away from those things for the reasons I stated.
I figured a way for me to enjoy the game and never worry about getting hacked. a timeless set. it's entirely untradeable and if I got equips the most they can take is a bit of mesos and pots. I just need to itemlock one item a year inorder to have my char undeleteable.

I wonder if Nexon intentionally keeps their security as shitty as it is to force people into being fearful enough to give them more cash to protect their accounts.

They're probably not quite that malicious. Nexon won't fix their security because that would cost them money to hire people, etc

i did pass the word about stirgeman skirts (i know someone who knows the main guy/ one of the main guys at it in scania)
so with some luck at least a skirt will be reborn.

No kidding.
I really wouldn't mind it in the end, $40/year isn't bad at all considering how much I regularly spent on NX when I played, but there's no way I could get away with just spending $40/year when all of my pieces still need to be cubed. My money is better spent elsewhere.

Also, to be more on topic, I'd like to see a Legends chair. Has anybody made that one yet? It's untradeable and otherwise worthless to create, but it was an item most of us were supposed to receive and never did.

Nexon won't improve its security, because due to the terms and conditions you agreed to when you signed up, they don't even have to HAVE any security.
Unauthorized use ALSO covers people hacking in game.
