Isn't exactly a new scam. It's a simple means of preserving trust so you can hit the mark again later when they've rebuilt themselves and have more to take.
I guess you're right... I really need to stop trusting people so easely. Its just because every single
time I did it before I gained a very good friend whos trustable because they feel trusted and the trusting
them part helped me alot. (Gifting random people SoK's for free Zak/Phantom Blow/Final Cut a while back)
Or just because I really want to help them in some way like lending my equips. I should stop looking at how
I feel when I would scam something and more at how bad it could end up if I keep trusting people even
if they are so called good friends. If I did something like this myself guilt would eat me up...
I could never scam anyone and trust me i've had so many oppertunities, and never considerd once to
take/keep anything. Not to sound arrogant or something but what makes me happy is to see someone freak
out about helping this person what could really make someones day, even if its something small.
If I can help someone then I ALWAYS do. :L
(I've been told many times im to nice and people take advantige of me wich has been the case irl a few
times aswell, but I still cant seem to remember that.)

Friends often "lose" items. It happens, have fun getting them back.
Sucks that you got hacked as well, however. There seems to have been a recent increase. It might be slightly easier to get into an account now that you can log in with an email or an ID.

Their might be a way to keep the pic pop up window from coming up, because once while the server were lagging i double click on my character and the pic window didnt come up. I enter the game then it showed up in game. Couldnt move my char until i enter the pic
Another wave of hacking? Was looking for a way to change pic on the website, but nothing...

I never clicked "Like" on FB nor i do play FB-MSAdventurer, but many of my friends on Facebook play it but werent hacked.
My hacked account is also quite old and the hacker must be dumb for some reason. He just bought some crappy items in MTS
with my last NX instead of, buying Psoks for my 15% dex CHTP, 15% CZAKHELM, and 12 att 15% DEX Belt o.O thats weird....
But the emailadress of FB is the same as the Email Adress of that MS Account.

It could have changed but you can only blow it up as far as I know.

You can always boom a wedding ring. Fill the first slots with whatever cheep accessory dark scroll you can find, if it doesn't blow up then start using enhancement scrolls until it's gone. :f6:
As far as I know you cannot drop the wedding ring (says you may not drop this item). But you cannot delete your character or world transfer unless you divorce and currently you cannot divorce unless you have a ring.
So sorry about your loss. None of my accounts have been affected. I don't share my info, don't use facebook, etc. During the 09 database leak I got two mule accounts hacked (lost maybe 500m tops).

Hmmm I think im going to check on this guy again because hes a friend of my friend to find out if he can boom his wedding ring or not. Im dying to know to be honest.
Also I find it pathetic that people are basicly forced to blow up they're wedding ring in order not to get deleted by some hacker.

People create & pass rumors because they're scared, because they want someone to blame, because they want to appear 'in the know' and even because they find it funny to watch people react. You have a point there. I'm already pretty gullable already so I believe most things straight away wich is a really bad thing. And look at stuff in a way how I would do it myself... But thats actually really wrong because thats what made me
lose some stuff before because I lend out stuff. I also thought: He wouldnt take it.. he's my friend. I know how hard
he worked for his stuff and guilt would eat me up. So I assume he feels the same way but thats extremely wrong x_x
