...Asiasoft can't possibly have any way of reversing any damage done to the ACTUAL OS/drive of their players, so they could easily be taken to court for publically distributing malicious .exes (deleting an entire drive and/or MBR is more dangerous than a lot of viruses...)
...right? Something like that has to be illegal, even if it wasn't intended.

Well, if those who got hit are kids and they don't go to their parents about it nothing can't be done. Plus, Singapore might have totally different laws from America.

I doubt most singaporean kids are tech savvy enough to fix something like this. There has to be at least one who answers to their parents when their s'hit gets broked, and they are going to ask how it happened. (unless they're just bad parents)

Is there any quick way to check whether or not my files have been untouched/whether I'm missing anything from any of computer drives? Right now things are looking all right, but I don't know for sure if the patch made me lose anything less noticeable. This is the first time that I've heard of anything like this happening, but I suppose that it's far from impossible.

and the patch didnt affect me at all so im fine. so is the rest of my guild. my maplestory folder is in my documents and all my files are intact.

Fixing it should be easy though, just put in your windows cd and repair...was it that hard?
Cause most people only got their MBR file deleted/corrupted anyway.
Minority got their files wiped like my friend when his maple file is not in his system drive (C Drive), and whole D drive is emptied.

Each Character is only able to receive the SP Reset Scroll ONCE.

MSEA is the ultimate troll. After the HotTime event, they decide to just give everyone SP resets through an NPC, though we only have 48 hours to redeem it. Starting tomorrow, that is.

The hilarious thing is, I just receive the SP reset event from hot time event, reseted my SP, counting my SP to make sure if there's any lost and the Notice just pop up right before my eye when I was counting...duh...Well, at least I get to test my Sair's skills before making the final decision on which skills to put.

maplesea = pathetic. fkin' laggy during the hot time event, CAN'T THEY UPDATE THEIR SERVER SPECS OR SOMETHING?! kms doesnt even have that much lag even with so much worlds, x3 more players and i'm connecting from SINGAPORE to KOREA.
