[0.96] A whole lotta awesome - LegendGospel - 2011-03-10 Miwok & VIP rings weren't "one of a kind", though. [0.96] A whole lotta awesome - Worthyness - 2011-03-10 lol they just wanted to make Wild hunters the clear winnar in the "ZOMG WHICH IS BETTURZZZ???" war. I think it was a part of a late Big Bang update. Doesn't really matter. [0.96] A whole lotta awesome - Kalovale - 2011-03-10 Hime beaten into submission. Now that is awesomesauce. Do these Evolving Rings stack with Adventurer Rings? I might get myself a pair if they do. See: the multiple versions of Lilin's Ring they created. [0.96] A whole lotta awesome - Lozmaster - 2011-03-10 Kalovale Wrote:Do these Evolving Rings stack with Adventurer Rings? [0.96] A whole lotta awesome - Veneni - 2011-03-10 Isn't it obvious? They only changed them to Evolving ring 2 so you coulnd't use the rings from the first event in the levelling process. So they're probably unstackable. It's even said in the patch notes: Quote:The Evolving Ring II is a separate item from the previous Evolving Ringyou cannot level up your ring from the previous event, you must level up a new ring. Tradeable rings from the last event would not be upgradeable anyway. Gaga's scripts for upgrading only recognize the untradeable versions of rings. There are very few people with untradeable rings from the first event, and I really don't see the harm in letting them continue from where they got stuck (presumably by missing that one specific day of the end of the event). I remember Hero's Brave Slash went up by like 10% or something. I know our patch is a combination of several KMS patches, but did we somehow miss the last few skill tweaks? JoeTang Wrote:There were never any skill changes until Chaos. In KMS, they received the Big Bang trilogy first, but there were a few small patches afterward that made some skill changes (follow the progression of Chain Lightning to see...). However, when GMS got Big Bang, our skills were changed with all the KMS Post-BB changes already in effect. [0.96] A whole lotta awesome - Izwardo - 2011-03-10 "A time limit has been placed on clearing Zakums Altar and Horntails Cave. This does not affect Chaos Zakum or Chaos Horntail. Zakums Altar: 50 minutes" ILY nexon finally the nibs will leave zak [0.96] A whole lotta awesome - CarrionCrow - 2011-03-10 Izwardo Wrote:"A time limit has been placed on clearing Zakums Altar and Horntails Cave. It's possible he was derogatorily referring to the people who camp zakum to prevent other users from playing. I'm not sure I'm reading this right, 5% deduction, yeah that's clear, but 30%? Boss damage works on these mobs, so uh, you do 5% more damage evidently? Weak lvl 130 vs weak lvl 11x is better odds of getting a zak ch atleast every hr unless your internet just sucks and you get out npc chat'd/AC'd all day. Also this will hopefully take away all the people that think "oh well I cant solo enough arms in 50mins to make the exp matter lets go grind and make up the time." Also alot of 1v1's such as WH's will hopefully move away from zak if their not funded enough and cant do over 20ks on their hurricane thingy attack they have, spaming their rush mob move seems a bit useless since it doesnt attack fast enough to kill enough arms in the time they need too. Either way you look at it, we're losing people at zak to be hopefully less camping at zak chs [0.96] A whole lotta awesome - SaptaZapta - 2011-03-10 bast963 Wrote:Ratio of Oblivion Guardians: 54 hp per exp, 5% damage reduction. Harsh penalty? Indeed? Let's do a bit of math. Party exp formula goes something like this: Exp = monster_exp * ( (0.6 * damage_done / total_monster_hp) + (0.4 * your_level / sum_of_party_levels)) If HS is present, multiply by 1.5. However, the total is capped by 1.1 times the monster's exp. Party_bonus = 0.05 * party_size * Exp So, let's assume you are killing mobs that give 10k exp each, and you're in a party of 6 (including HSer), all about the same level, and you're the only one killing. You get 10k * ((0.6) + (0.4 / 6)) * 1.5 = 10k... exactly the same as you'd have gotten all alone. But wait, party bonus! Normal party bonus, nothing to do with LHC, is 0.05 * 6 * 10k = 3k. So, by having 5 leeches including HS hanging on ropes with you at any training map at all, you can get 30% more exp than you can when you solo. You think that's all due to HS? Think again. If it were just you and the HS'er, your Exp would be 11k (since it's capped by 1.1x the monster's exp), and party bonus would be 1.1k (10%, since there are only 2 of you), so together that would be 12.1k. Still less than the 13k per kill you get with a full party of leeches. And, as I said, that's in normal training maps. At LHC, party bonus is ten times that. So that 10k kill gets a 30k bonus, for a total of 40k. 4 times the exp you'd get if you just went solo. Now, if the other party members actually do some killing as well, and you get a slice of that (1k Exp and 3k party bonus per kill, I leave the math to you), that adds up to some really nice pocket change. Assuming all 4 of them (minus the bishop) are killing about as fast as you are, that's 16k more exp you get in the time you kill one mob. So, total of 56k exp instead of 10k you'd get soloing. Harsh penalty, indeed. (Final note: mobs in LHC give considerably more than 10k, was just using that nice round number for demonstration purposes). [0.96] A whole lotta awesome - Satellite - 2011-03-10 I hope Evolving Ring II stacks with Evo. Ring I... You can always hope ![]() I accidentally sold my Extra Zombie Ring (for Wedding ring slot, when I bossed etc). [0.96] A whole lotta awesome - Furnost - 2011-03-10 Everyone can sit on here all day and speculate about the rings being stackable or not but at the end of the day we aren't going to know if the new TRADEABLE rings will stack with the old ones until Saturday, March 26th (17 days from now)...people can post up pics of lvl 1 rings stacking or lvl 13 rings not being able to stack but until the 26th it's safe to assume no one will know unless Nexon announces it which they won't. *wishes he was home instead of at work training in LHC*

If they stack at a high level it is pretty much a safe bet that they will as lvl 17 tradable. The one of a kind will not come into play. |
