Dev Blog: Welcome to 2011! - Takebacker - 2011-01-23 Sonic Wrote:If you managed to kill it, you get a box which gives you a random scroll. You can get advanced enhancement scrolls from these boxes too~ Does everyone get a box or no? Sending an invite every hour for anyone 70+, having them fight a boss, and then giving everyone a box sounds extremely exploitable. Go in, have everyone else kill the boss, get box. Not that i would complain, since such a thing would crash scroll prices SO HARD. Dev Blog: Welcome to 2011! - Sonic - 2011-01-23 Takebacker Wrote:Does everyone get a box or no? And they group you according to your level and transport you to a map with the people you are grouped with. The other groups are just transported to a separate map. Let's say you are lvl 75, the people you are going to fight with are most likely all lvl 70-80+, so the chances of defeating the boss is low. So only the high level people would get anything good. The low levels are mainly just to go there for fun in my opinion~ Dev Blog: Welcome to 2011! - Takebacker - 2011-01-23 But does everyone in a group get a box? Dev Blog: Welcome to 2011! - Anonymous Moose - 2011-01-23 At least everyone receiving a reward is far better than public reward drops that only a few people or only the hackers will obtain. So they're really just taking a month as a breather. Quote:Sometimes well have an idea for an event or a contest or a sale that just cant be done because we dont have the time to properly implement it.Seriously? Quote:Then theres the issue of bugs. All those maintenances meant lost time we could have been using to fix bugs before they are released. The result has been some less-than-stable patches and unfortunate game glitches.Maintenance to fix stuff, is GOOD. Because you FIX stuff. All these hacks and glitches still persist. Fix those instead? How about canceling a patch or make a filler patch for stuff? Oh, don't forget, maintenance and such already get delayed. There's no real issue if you already delayed it/if you delay it/delay it more. There's only a problem with it if there's something like the evolving ring event. Quote:There was simply never enough development time! Since everything had to fit into that month-long patch cycle, creating exclusive content became prohibitively difficult.Well, there's your Masteria, folks. A big game comes with big responsibility, they're perfectly prepared to handle MS! /sarcasm That, and if they're understaffed... weren't things better earlier? Like they had, what, 3-6 different GMs who world hop and such, and do stuff/smega? What happened to that? |
