A Quiet Little Town - Game Over, town wins - ThatHurts - 2010-10-13 Oh, crap, I should probably pay attention. Anyway, I'm the vigilante (town aligned, one-shot) and I did NOT kill anyone last night btw. So, anyway, you're basically getting rid of our only non-mafia influenced kill. Doubt that'll change anyone's mind though. If you'd like me to prove it though, just tell me who to kill. edit- Also [vote]KajitiSouls since he's the only other person with a vote... :x A Quiet Little Town - Game Over, town wins - Mephisto - 2010-10-13 Just wanted to say that in my opinion, arsonist is more likely to be a mafia role than neutral. In.. I think it was Ray's mafia, with team RED and the Corrupted, I was a mafia-aligned pyro/arsonist. Also, if that's true TH and you live, you should kill Synthesist imo. That was my plan since he's useless to us, but things don't look good for me atm... lol A Quiet Little Town - Game Over, town wins - Holypie - 2010-10-13 What is it with you people and Synthesist? I mean really. I know him, he's paying attention to the game, and just because someone doesn't talk doesn't mean they're useless or mafia. Watch him be the doctor and then you've fucked us all over. =| [vote] ThatHurts just to end this. On second thought, I agree with Mephisto \/ A Quiet Little Town - Game Over, town wins - Dual - 2010-10-13 Holypie Wrote:What is it with you people and Synthesist? I mean really. Lurkers always fall under suspicion in practically every mafia game. 'Tis but a sad truth. A Quiet Little Town - Game Over, town wins - Mephisto - 2010-10-13 If that was your plan then why didn't you execute it last night? And if you're one-shot, then how do we explain the double killing last night? Who performed the second kill? You've created more questions than you've answered at this point. Also, I don't want Synthesist dead because I suspect him, I want him dead because it's against the spirit of mafia to simply never post in the gameplay thread, to me at least. He might as well not be playing and in the future I wish the host would just ban him from signing up unless he agrees to post a little bit. A Quiet Little Town - Game Over, town wins - MasPan - 2010-10-13 Hmm, thought about it, and getting shot if the doc protects me wouldn't prove anything, and I'm not willing to throw myself under the bus to prove your innocence. Just shoot Synthesist I guess to prove yourself. I really hope you're not lying, I'm really uneasy about killing off Synthesist. Bad juju man. Well that's just unreasonable... A Quiet Little Town - Game Over, town wins - Dual - 2010-10-13 Recounting votes: 6 ThatHurts 2 KajitiSouls No Mephisto, you weren't. Votes changed as I was attempting to cut off for majority, leaving us as it currently stands. A Quiet Little Town - Game Over, town wins - Mephisto - 2010-10-13 Yeah, I removed my vote on the condition that you kill Synthe- oh hey now wait a minute! If you're lying and are actually mafia, you could just target him anyway and then it would look like you're innocent! NOW I'M RLY MAD wait wut, was i too late? Edit: Forget it, I'll keep my [vote] ThatHurts from earlier, since I can't think of a reliable way he could prove his innocence. Also, Holypie, how is it unreasonable? The point of signing up for a game is to participate, which he barely does (I say "barely" because if he gets a power role, he will probably use it, but that's such minimal participation). Assuming the vigilante has the same killing style as the mafia (bullet). If the mafia is even consistent. W/e. If he is mafia and targets Synth, we lose a pseudo-afk player. I don't like it, but ultimately worse could happen and we'd know who to lynch tomorrow. Potentially hilarious scenario: Synthesist is doctor and protects himself, ThatHurts looks guilty anyway. [vote]KajitiSouls <--- Tobias/Mute's had some pretty lucky guesses. I kindof agree with Dusk that not lynching yesterday didn't do much for us as well. We lost two last night and we can't afford to just keep sitting around like this. A Quiet Little Town - Game Over, town wins - Holypie - 2010-10-13 Most games don't allow doctors to self protect. And the mafia that time was stupid. I know, just had to run out as I was posting so I forgot to do so. As for why Meta, I took a look at all the people who had voted on Day 1 and Day 2 and made a list to see who had voted both days. Given the odds of the matter, chances are good that at least one of the people that voted both days was a mafian, probably more than one, but at least one. ChaoticCJ, xBTAx, and MetaSeraphim were the last voters before I posted. I could vote for any of them, but I picked Meta because he had voted relatively early on Day 1, and relatively late on Day 2. I'll repeat that I don't necessarily think all three are mafians, but anyone that voted for no lynch on the first day, and then followed up on the voting of ThatHurts today is a reasonable candidate for suspicion of being a mafian. Edit: They're not the only ones on my list either, I just decided to pick someone from the last few people that had voted, figuring a mafia bandwagoning later on was more likely than earlier. You do realize that you're trying to establish a pattern with only 2 data points right? That's...flawed to all hell. I voted No Lynch day 1 because there was no evidence, nothing linking anyone to anything, and I don't like RNG. I'm sure there are others that feel the same way at least. Indeed it's flawed, but I dislike the route the voting has taken on both days. While I too dislike RNG voting, it doesn't remove my previous point, that being that among those who voted both days, odds are good that among them is a mafian, or more than one for that matter. They have a rather vested interest in a no lynch the first day so as to prevent one of their members accidentally getting RNGed, and then they saw a rather easy chance to get rid of ThatHurts. That's the way it looks to me right now. My vote of Meta isn't without it's problems, but I certainly feel more at ease with that then I would if I picked ThatHurts and he turned out to be a townie. A Quiet Little Town - Game Over, town wins - KajitiSouls - 2010-10-13 [vote] MetaSeraphim I still don't think ThatHurts is really someone we should lynch. |
