I hate to say this, but you guys assume that KMS players report every minor finding on these forums. Most of them just...play the game. I didn't specify what the mechanics of defense ignore were. [SIZE="5"] Good job, Dusk. You are right, we can't break the cap on 1st/2nd/3rd job skills via Combat Order. I will post my screenshot later to prove this. [/SIZE] [Big Bang] Adventurer Skill Tables/Notes - Signal - 2010-10-12 I thought CO only worked with 4th job skills. So you are saying CO gives +2 to every skill but will only break level cap for 4th job skills? So you are saying CO gives +2 to every skill but will only break level cap for 4th job skills? It does. But you have to add 1 SP to that skill at least. If the skill level is 0, the Combat Order can't increase it to level 2. [Big Bang] Adventurer Skill Tables/Notes - Sorien - 2010-10-13 Threepea Wrote:It does. So does that mean I can leave all of my paladin's skills, excluding those that are required for later skills, at 2 points under their max and still be alright? If so then that's pretty awesome!
[Big Bang] Adventurer Skill Tables/Notes - 0^2 - 2010-10-13 Youre dam right thats awesome. That allows a White Knight to "max" all their skills too. [Big Bang] Adventurer Skill Tables/Notes - 0^2 - 2010-10-14 Combat Orders Temporarily increase the skill levels of all party members. Only skills from the final job advancement can be increased beyond the mastery level. Does not affect the level of beginner skills and Combat Orders. Unless i see some evidence that this for some strange reason wouldnt effect 3rd job skills at all ill go with the notion that it does. [Big Bang] Adventurer Skill Tables/Notes - CarrionCrow - 2010-10-14 0^2 Wrote:Combat Orders O_O. You even said it yourself. Surpass the max in 4th job (meaning it can raise skills to 32) but raises it no higher than max in the rest of the jobs except beginner skills where it won't do squat. [Big Bang] Adventurer Skill Tables/Notes - SaptaZapta - 2010-10-14 So it affects 3rd jobs skills, as long as they're not maxed. Hence, a WK can leave his skills at level 8/18/28 and rely on CO to give him the remaining levels. Anyone want to prove this is the case for adventurers? I've only ever seen this hold true for RESISTANCE characters, not adventurers. Nothing like that on the battle mage. Adventurers can add SP to previous jobs and resistance can't, then. [Big Bang] Adventurer Skill Tables/Notes - CarrionCrow - 2010-10-14 Oh hmm. I was sure I saw it somewhere. Can't find the source so I might be off. [Big Bang] Adventurer Skill Tables/Notes - Trust - 2010-10-14 Sorry if it didn't read the whole thread/used search and stuff and if this seems like a silly question, but i saw that star expertise affects a %age of dmg increase for lucky 7 and shadow meso. Does that mean it doesnt increase triple throw damage? Or is triple throw the same formula as lucky 7 with an extra star so it gets the damage increase too? >.< [Big Bang] Adventurer Skill Tables/Notes - Dusk - 2010-10-14 Trust Wrote:Sorry if it didn't read the whole thread/used search and stuff and if this seems like a silly question, but i saw that star expertise affects a %age of dmg increase for lucky 7 and shadow meso. It doesn't affect TT's damage. Also, Lucky 7 does not have its own damage formula. The question was kind of strange until i looked deeper, but it's a 4th job skill so does it buff L7 to make it more even with TT or something? Does nexon think that stars (or lack thereof) are actually a problem? Does nexon think that stars (or lack thereof) are actually a problem? It buffs the damage of Drain, Venom, Avenger, and Shadow Meso. They probably just threw in Lucky Seven for consistency. Lucky Seven with Maxed Star Expertise still does less damage than Lv. 1 Triple Throw, so yeah, maybe they think people would use L7 occasionally to save stars. Who knows, NL skills have always been poorly designed. They seem to have trouble designing anything beyond jump and throw stars. [Big Bang] Adventurer Skill Tables/Notes - Takebacker - 2010-10-14 Dusk Wrote:consistency. But that isn't relevant because L7 isn't relevant. D: |
