If this was supposed to be their big content patch for March, I will be disappointed. With KoC, Aran, and Evan all being released in a years time, another new class isn't a big deal. I'd much rather like to see new high level content.

Btw, anyone who can't see the picture, just go onto the KMS website and you can see it for yourself.

They're making a new weapon called "blade" for this.

THE NEW LEGEND COULD BE THE FUNDATOR OF THE SAND BANDITS.

I'm not trying to create any crazy theories on this, just saying something i thought about before. It would be sick if the new legend thief was related somehow to the sand bandits from Ariant and that city in te poster was a new town placed around the sunset Road.

The Sand Bandits weren't bandits in the sense of the class, they only had one attack from the job anyway - steal.

^ I don't know if Maple supports double jumping. But if they found a way to do it it would be a lot like Wonderking or possibly even Super Smash Bros. Although I really hoped for the Thief legend to use lots of air/jump attacks.

I don't care if this new class (if it is a new class) sucks or is overpowered, I'm just going to make one because I like the weapon(I don't see Nexon making a completely new weapon type just yet) and because I'm also going to make an Evan (already made an Aran, although I kind of stopped playing for a few weeks after making it).

If it's double-jumping, it's like "So?" to me. What then? Nothing impressive. But if you combine that with fast aerials, uhhh.. this class would most likely rape. We'll see what happens when skills-data is up.

awww. I was hoping to use my hacked-cb's str daggers to equip him. now i gotta use clean gear until i can afford the ridiculously overpriced scrolled ones since i can't scroll well at all =( (failed TWO 90%'s IN A ROW on my equinox >.>)

Couldn't they have done somwthing along the lines of allowing 2 daggers, but taking half the attack of each one and adding them together? i.e. two 100 atk daggers take 50 atk from each weapon and still have 100atk. stats roll over from both (like + 7 luk on each dagger --> 14 luk total). Woulda made sense to me. Dunno how hard it is to program that though cause I'm no computer person.

No need. Why not just make the damage/attack formula different for this new specific class, but with weilding 2 daggers/swords. This way, they won't be:

-Twice as powerful as a Shadower
-2x faster than a Night Lord!
-Broken and have an arsonal of stars AND flying daggers!
etc

The pirate legend might use a new type of sword called a "rapier" or maybe a "rifle", a slower version of guns, similar to how Xbows are slower than Bows...or something.

The "archer" legend might use slingshots...or better yet, Blowpipes. Biggrin

Never thought of changing the formula o_o shows you how much i know...

Yay for another class that uses DEX. Now everything with dex on it can inflate even more and it'll be harder to scroll for dex since 3/4 of the maple characters use dex anyway. Only ones that don't use dex are: mages? and that's like 4 jobs.

If they can evade attacks as good as buccs and shads can, then I will be happy. Aran seemed kinda dull to me because you really couldn't evade anything. This, on the other hand, looks like it will be more fun.

Even for Spadow, those are just speculations. Unless there was data on the new weapon in the last KMST patch, there is no evidence on the new legend thief using other than 2 daggers / 1H swords.

I know they were not bandits trained by the dark lord from Kerning City. They are just people that decided to work together against the Sultan's wife in Ariant (or w.e is called) because she was
ruining every one charging insane taxes, just like Robin hood and his gang. Having the new Legend to be the leader of the Sand Bandits or the Fundator of them in the past would be amazing IMO.
