What's wrong with dicking around with a Japanese rom? You're not interested in playing a game that won't be released in America for another five or six months, even if you can't read the dialogue? Either way, there's no hurt in trying to get as far as you can seeing how a translation patch will probably be available in the next couple of weeks.

Are you serious? It's a remake of a game that came out about a decade ago. Sure, it has some new features and such. Is there really anything left to spoil about the game that we don't already know?

Umm... chances are a lot of people here already experienced the game the first time it was out. That would be like saying before Metroid: Zero Mission came out that playing the Japanese version of Metroid: Zero Mission would spoil the experience for you even though you most likely played the original Metroid already.

I just started my Pokemon SS file on my DS. Currently have a Cyndaquil who I nicknamed ありの and a Geodude, who I plan to sweep the first gym with..

I'm not going to bother with Rattata or a Sentret, and I rather get a female Spearow (ミスティアWink than getting a Pidgey.

-edit- Also just caught a female Bellsprout and named it Parsee (パルスィWink Cause Touhou lacks plant type Youkai and I can't think of any other 1st/2nd stage boss..

You can catch Kyogre, Lati@s, Groudon, you can go to Hoenn, you can get 3 out of the 9 starter Pokemon, there's new crap added such as an ear-notched Pichu/Pikachu colored Pichu event, Pokemon can follow you...

I played both HG and SS on a friends flash card yesterday, and I have to say, it's pretty awesome(downloading the HG rom now, getting buying SS once it gets to Europe).

Btw, I've found a Youtube channel with a lot of the OST (and theres some new ones every hour or so), that and the GB player allows you to hear all the old tracks.

I replayed this a few months ago and Rollout is such a peach of a move at that point in the game. I always just work on my beginner for the entire game so once it dies I've got no real backup and yeah... it makes things difficult.
