- Adventurer race: Can select between two or three branches per class.
- Cygnus race: Elements and get some skills earlier than Adventurers.
- Ahran race: Combo system?

Plus, Cygnus is "easy," Adventurer is "medium," and "Ahran" is supposedly "hard."

Takebacker Wrote:Well, if this class is another balanced character that is good for both bossing and training, then they're obligated to release a class that rapes single targets and one that raped mobs.

If it's the whole "underrated weapon" thing for the whole race, i'm interested in what they'll do with pirates. They already used knuckles, and i don't see how they could make another gunslinger that rapes everyone in damage even more.

gunslingers aren't THAT strong Rolleyes

Looking for all freedom seekers, enjoy the time you are an Adventurer!
Travelers and drifters have suddenly appeared. (?)
Without any special purpose, the classic Maple jobs are for those who want to enjoy the world.
Through the former version, you can switch jobs and your career can be different.
They are incomplete and have a weak start.
The more you repeat the adventure, you will become more grown out of it.

Growth Rate, 2 stars
Potential, 2 stars
Freedom, 3 stars
Difficulty, 2 stars
Maximum Level 200

Knights of Cygnus

Empress of the angels! Come fight against the Black Wizard!
This is an elite group of warriors for Empress Cygnus.
They were born to protect the men from the Maple World from the Black Wizard.
Because they have special skills and articles, rapid growth is possible.
Their level growth is relatively low.
At the same levels, they are more powerful than anyone else.

Growth Rate, 3 stars
Potential, 1 star
Freedom, 2 stars
Difficulty, 1 star
Maximum Level, 120

We're probably looking at
Growth Rate, **
Potential, ***
Freedom, **
Difficulty, ***
Maximum Level, 200

For Ahran.
Their skills seem to all be important, but they don't have enough points to max everything, and the keycombo + Combo Count increases the Difficulty of control. However, their Potential to be stronger than Adventurers is higher due to this, with a Fourth Job as well. Their Growth Rates likely won't be low, probably the normal 5 AP a level since their level cap is higher. Freedom would be ranked the same as a Cygnus as there is only one job per class, though this could change in the future.

I don't know a single class that can hit 40k on a single target at level 123 with something that shoots as fast as cannon.

Your godly ass aside, the fact that a 14x gunslinger (when only using a single target attack) can solo zak in the same amount of time it takes a hero (hitting 3 arms at once...) they're strong as pineapple. Kiss

124*. I think an NL with an apple might be able to keep up with my DPS. dunno

Ahran. Ayran. Oh pomegranate, Neo-Nazis.

We all noticed the Ahran Aryan thing immediately.
The only option for hair is blonde and blue eyes.

On topic: I'd never be able to play this class, I suck at Street Fighter style games xD But lets hope they make Pole Arm scrolls worth something~

Sort of off topic: Shadowers are always getting the shaft in one way or another... if they made the dagger using class godly, our scrolls would be even MORE inflated (Mardia's 30%s are still at 7mil from the Fandit bandwagon)[/COLOR]

DrRusty Wrote:All mob skills + low % attacks = This is definently not a bossing class.... It'll be interesting to see how the combo thing works. I'm playing WoW now and half my skills rely on "combo points" so I wonder if it will be similar to that.

Combo point system is win. It made playing a rogue or feral druid very intensive. It rewards you for attacking by letting you build up to a finisher, but it also makes you use up those combo points so you maximize damage. While Buccaneers are cooldown dependent (like tanking Death Knights who have a huge range of cooldowns to juggle) which means to stick in as many attacks as possible for more DPS, this new race/class will be more dependent on making sure nothing gets wasted (ie Rogues/Cat druids) as I'm sure the "combo" points will peak, meaning doing additional attacks while the person that has max combo points/level will be doing less damage than one who at least dumps his combo points for one of his finisher type moves.

That is SO insane. DO WANT.

Anyone else thinks Nexon is trying to make use of all the types of weapon in the game? I mean, Cygnus classes only have one option of a weapon. Think they're trying to utilize them all?

[1.2.222] The Aran Race - Kabanaw - 2009-04-23

I wonder what the freedom rating means. I think it means either how many choices you have when it comes to skills and such, or how attached you are to a story line. While adventures do what they choose, Cygnus follow a plot.

And the Ahran class all have blonde hair and blue eyes und sind fur den fuhrer.

I don't get why people think Aryans have blonde hair and blue eyes. That may be the true depiction of a master race, but it is not Aryan. Hitler considered himself Aryan but had neither of these features (the same goes for most of his personnel).

[1.2.222] The Aran Race - Deity - 2009-04-23

The topic. We seem to be getting off of it.

I can see this class being either really difficult or really fun to train. It seems a lot harder to zone out when you have to focus that much. I am glad that we understand how this class works better. There had to be a catch with the kind of mobbing damage they have. All that really remains to be seen now is how hard it is to build and maintain a combo, and how much damage they do once they're done tweaking the skills.

Thanks for the update, Fiel, lover of chinchillas, master of maple files.

i think it was the mustache that just didn't quite do it for Aryans. -__-

[1.2.222] The Aran Race - Kirov - 2009-04-23

I wondered how they would do a 3* difficulty. But I guess key combos are the way they went. I can’t wait to get my hands on one of these new classes and see what they are like. I have my doubts about how well this will work.

Hitler was also Austrian. Goggleemoticon

And on topic, my question was never answered so I'll ask again. Does combo mean that you press direction buttons then the 'attack' key, or press a key with the skill set to it?

[1.2.222] The Aran Race - JoeTang - 2009-04-23

The exact mechanics aren't know yet, I believe.

I demand an evil gunslinger class with early Battleship skill! >:0
