Dungeon Fighter Online Game Server Update
[UPDATE] Patch delayed to Thursday, Oct. 22nd.
Dungeon Fighter Online will be going through a game update on Thursday, Oct. 22nd.
This maintenance will affect all game servers and will last approximately 5 hours.
The DFO website will not be affected during this time.
Maintenance Details:
- Time: Thursday, Oct. 22ndt at 12AM (midnight) PDT to Thursday, Oct. 22nd at 5AM PDT
- Change List:
- Halloween content
- Minor upgrades to security system including Hackshield
- Blocking 'Death Nightna Hair' from Avatar Bazaar for Mage class
- Replacing 'Death Nightna Hair' avatar item with 'Orange Cute Bang' avatar item for Mage class
- Other minor bug fixes

Wow I'm frickin pissed right now. Look at this crap:

That's Isadora at FULL HP after a 25 minute battle (you can tell it went on a long time from my hits; I usually don't get more than 9 times in a typical battle with her, and it only takes 10 mins). She was down to her final bar and for some reason, she just stopped summoning. Completely. She stopped summoning. She wasn't even trying to kill me anymore. She'd just stand there or walk around aimlessly until I got RIGHT UP IN HER FACE. And even then she'd only summon her solar burst or hit me with her wand. I can't kill her if she doesn't summon. My EMM is dependent on recoiling to hit her. She dodges it 100% of the time if I use it head-on. Swatter is useless because she regens the damage before I can cast it again.
This is such a load of frickin BS. I used a hefty amount of pots, and I'm forced to commit suicide because of a frickin glitch. What the hell? I easily completed the epic quest involving killing her three times. That went smoothly. No problems. Then I try to kill her one more time for the key quest, and this happens. BS. Man.

My build is insanely unorthodox, as it's built specially for how I like to play. I highly doubt it'd work for or even be liked by many other people. I'm completely avoiding the Fire element in favor of maxing the handful of skills I like. I have better solo bossing abilities but slightly worse mob control than typical Witch builds.
I've seen most people say Manteau is mainly just for gathering, and it shouldn't be raised past 3. I use it as an actual attack and it's one of my favs, so I'm maxing it. For the best dungeon clearing ability, you'll definitely want both Acid Rain and Lava Potion. I'm not getting ANY Lava Potion. I don't think I've seen many other people max Flyswatter, either. I am.
Almost everyone agrees you need to max EMM. EMM is the best Witch skill, in my opinion. Anyone who doesn't max it (or close) is retarded. It's great for mobbing and bossing.
I don't know. Just do some research like I did and mess with the planner. It's really not hard to think up builds. The biggest decision you have to make is whether or not you want to spend 210 points for the prereqs for Lava Potion (ask yourself: do I want Fire element and a godly mob control skill, even though it costs a lot of points to get?). All the other prereqs are not expensive and are good skills in their own right. Get the prereqs. See what you like. Watch videos to see how things work. Experiment.

If you sacrifice your awakening skill, you can easily pay off the skill points necessary for the prerequisites. Witches have a terrible awakening anyways.

[SPOILER=Don't go in here MasPan]Hatchery boss fight on King's was pretty dang crazy! Toward the end, the boss was healing really fast, and all the Ministers were doing so much status crap against us. Even the King of Terror was dishing out enough damage to bring our health down to half (and it's pretty lethal to mages). All in all, we wasted 6 tokens trying to take him out, and that was mostly because only one of us would res at a time. Lol.

I have plenty of points leftover even if I only get 1 in the Awakening (which I won't because I agree it's trash). I'm not getting Fire, period. It's vastly more fun getting the skills I like and being able to max things others can't.
I really hate the Temple of Apostasy. I honestly can't stand it. Farmed a lot of pots, had fun for a couple days, took it easy and was finally ready to come back and get this hellhole done with. Nope. Isadora BS glitch turned me off finishing her today, so I decided to start on Hydracle. Made a mistake and died when he was on his last bar. Another run wasted. This place is so frickin stupid. I'm quickly getting more and more turned off from pushing onward.
Still have 120 fatigue and I don't even feel like pot farming now. Meh...

I dont like the priests attacking style.
I prefer the gunman class as jump attacks and quick motion with the ability to easily dodge hits is favored.

My new Mage's IGN is Gritto. Won't be using her yet - waiting until Monk is at 25 and Fighter advanced - but I can't wait.
