In my eyes the 2 concrete proofs of progress in LoL its you summoner level and your ELO (Hidden or Ranked)


Progress and achievements are quite related, though they're obviously different. Since it's sometimes possible to use one in place of the other, either purposely or mistakenly, we'll have to wait until they give us precise details.

Arguments could easily be made that gaining more wins is technically progress.
On the other hand getting to a specific number of wins (say... 100 wins) is the achievement brought about by your progress. Thus, they award you for your progress once you get to the 100 wins.

We need details. They've given none. We hope. We wish. In the mean time... we've no choice but to wait.

Man I just got out of a pretty fun game. I was really surprised by that too because it's early in the morning on xmas break.
Normally the teammates I get on weekends/vacations suck bigtime, but this time they were all smart and well spoken even joking around with each other.

I think my favorite part of that game was whenever one of us made a mistake whoever did it would take the rap for it instead of blaming others.

All in all I felt like it was a nice little gift from the gods above to have had an enjoyable ranked game during a time I normally wouldn't touch that game mode in.

Has anyone noticed Ahri's passive got renamed 4 days ago? Its great and all since Ezreal dun goofed by naming a passive that had the same name as Nasus's passive. Unfortunately, I just noticed that; announcement awareness fail. X_X (Though in my defense, I haven't been spending a lot of time on the interwebz these past few days)

Soooooooo.....

Had to system restore my computer after something popped up that required me to absolutely do so.

Now my LoL is broken...or could it be? These are the possible scenarios:

1) LoL did break, and I might have to uninstall everything and re-install. (I'll have to check this out out once I get home tomorrow to see if it did really bork). Damn you System Restore, even though it was a lifesaver. Rolleyes
2) Vegas hotel internet "blocked" it. I will not be surprised by this; last year when I was in Vegas, that did happen.

I don't have time to even play LoL since I'm spending most of the day in Sin City, but I just wanted to log in and check some things out, that's about it. Frown

The LoL installation does kinda seem sensitive. Everytime I have to terminate the launcher for not working correctly (which is every other time) the volume setting reverts back to 100%, which is pretty loud for my purposes. Also, I think I moved LoL once in the directories, and now the shortcut image is broken xD

The last of the 450 RP gifts should be distributed by the 28th. You must also have been lvl 6 before they started giving out RP, though I'm pretty sure you cover that requirement easily.
