Layton - Sarah - 2012-06-22 I'm pissed that they didn't standardize the CPP set-up for the XL to encourage developers to use it. 3DS discussion with Tokyo Gameshow Tidbits: Ace Vs. Layton - Lozmaster - 2012-06-22 Sarah Wrote:I'm pissed that they didn't standardize the CPP set-up for the XL to encourage developers to use it. I'm not surprised though. Nintendo isn't in the habit of sticking it's middle finger at existing customers where it can help it, and it would split the player base in two. On the other hand, if they don't announce a CPP for this soon, the CPP is dead in the water, because a large amount of 3DS owners won't have access to a second stick ever, and so games won't likely support it. Edit: Just played the Theatrhythm demo, this has just become a day one purchase for me. 3DS discussion with Tokyo Gameshow Tidbits: Ace Vs. Layton - Kirov - 2012-06-22 Namco Bandai doing Smash Bros, hmm not sure. Oh well Nintendo do this all the time so its probably not a big deal. 90% larger screens damn. I could really go for that but I dont think I can really justify the purchase. I dont think the hardware looks that great but 90% larger screens. Interesting that America is the only one that gets the AC adaptor. The month of VC titles is nice since a lot of people have been crying out for more. Nice to have a release date for Layton too. 3DS discussion with Tokyo Gameshow Tidbits: Ace Vs. Layton - Secun - 2012-06-24 ![]() The Nintendo 3DS, now with 90% more added fat. 3DS discussion with Tokyo Gameshow Tidbits: Ace Vs. Layton - Razmos - 2012-06-24 Just tried the KH3D demo. So much fun! 3DS discussion with Tokyo Gameshow Tidbits: Ace Vs. Layton - Malthe - 2012-06-24 Hmmm not sure if i want the 3DS XL or the normal 3DS, getting one sometime around july/august. Going to wait a month or two and see. 3DS discussion with Tokyo Gameshow Tidbits: Ace Vs. Layton - Remoir - 2012-06-24 Unless they bought out a cpp to house that XL i dont think id bother Just incase they bring out a game that i want that needs cpp and then i cant play it because the XL doesnt fit lol. 3DS discussion with Tokyo Gameshow Tidbits: Ace Vs. Layton - Kirov - 2012-06-24 Im not so sure about the CPPs future. I bet only a very small % of 3DS owners actually have one. As for buying one or the other. I would say the XL unless portability is really important. Price too i guess since the regular model will be cheaper. 3DS discussion with Tokyo Gameshow Tidbits: Ace Vs. Layton - Sarah - 2012-06-24 I really want to play that demo but I can't find any wifi to steal ![]() edit: Went to my dad's and he set up access for me on his router. Downloaded a ton of pomegranate including the Paper Mario: Sticker Star trailer and OH MY pineappleING GOD IT IS SO MUCH MORE BEAUTIFUL IN ACTUAL 3D MariaColette edit: played the KH3D demo. Not impressed with FLOWMOTION but the graphics and 3D are fantastic. Didn't really feel like my pets were doing anything. It's REALLY colourful. Boss was a joke. 3DS discussion with Tokyo Gameshow Tidbits: Ace Vs. Layton - Jedward - 2012-06-24 Sarah Wrote:edit: played the KH3D demo. I had to use Cura a few times at the boss battle, because I was trying to use Flowmotion a lot more. Maybe I should have stuck to spells. 3DS discussion with Tokyo Gameshow Tidbits: Ace Vs. Layton - Piggy 2.0 - 2012-06-24 Flowmotion is funky, yeah. Kept trying to be FUN AND FANCY FREE with it and the boss tore me to shreds. Pretty solid demo, though. In other news, Viewtiful Joe 1 and 2 are fan-fu'ckingtastic. 3DS discussion with Tokyo Gameshow Tidbits: Ace Vs. Layton - Justin - 2012-06-24 The flowmotion was somewhat frustrating when rolling into poles because you have to HIT the pole in order for the flowmotion to activate. The boss was a joke, and some of the new battle gimmicks are just...annoying. I don't want to have to whip out the stylus in the middle of battle to drag and drop some object onto a bunch of enemies. I want the battles to be intense, fast paced, flat out crazy. being forced to hold the stylus in my hand whilst playing is quite the turnoff. Otherwise, the graphics are amazing, but still not sure how I feel about the voice-overs. It's just a demo, though, and I'm taking it with a grain of salt. Feels they're trying too hard to be "unique" or "interactive" with the touch screen. And as Sarah said, the dream eaters kinda just floated around and didn't do jack pomegranate. They're pretty useless and their link attacks were slow, clunky, and not really worth the crappy damage output. Only worthwhile part about them were the free invincibility they give you while doing team attacks. <_<; Also. Small demo is small. I beat it in 5 minutes on my first play. And I ran around a lot, too. 3DS discussion with Tokyo Gameshow Tidbits: Ace Vs. I thought that was what you were meant to do for every game o.o 3DS discussion with Tokyo Gameshow Tidbits: Ace Vs. Layton - Sarah - 2012-06-25 Just use your finger. That's what I did. |
