raizoo Wrote:Skill Crests will never get outdated. Maybe. ヽ( >∀<)ノ

Skill Crests never do, only Enhancement Crests do since the higher level the Crest the better it is. A Lv10 Crest is weaker than a Lv16 one, and so on, but Skill Crests are always the same.

Holypie Wrote:Pft, the guy in the video suggested getting epic gear. No thank you.

It's their way of trying to convince the playerbase that there is actually solid content, when there isn't. It's like in their Minotaur Nest livestream, they were saying something like, ''And as you can see it's still quite a challenge.. and.. can we get a look at the equipment? *Full Epic equipment is shown, all +12* Perfect equipment and it still takes quite a while to down!'' When the content is actually released it's not even a challenge for +6 Rares and Magics. Lulz.

Now they're releasing filler content and trying to convince us that we actually need the Minotaur Equipment to stand a chance, because normally, realistically, Lv24 Epics are absolutely laughable for how difficult it is to get compared to how useful they actually are. In fact, I saw someone yesterday with an Ancient Sword, and it was weaker than my Lv23 Magic-rarity sword, and why? Because mine is much easier to enhance to a higher level, potential, etc. It takes far too many resources to make the Epic equipment even remotely close to -decent-, but here's Nexon saying, ''omg no gais! it r rilly gud ekips! u nid demz or u dedz!''

Only the Epic Accessories are good, in fact, incredibly good compared to anything of lower rarity at this point, but the Ancient/Elf equipment is only slightly better. We got the 7 completion limit even though our rates were horrifically nerfed because they're trying to stretch out the little content we have, but the butter has already been spread far too thin in my opinion. Now we're getting content that's really only good for EXP, but EXP is pointless when you can reach Lv24 within a few days, assuming you play somewhat casually.

It sucks to think that all of our Nests might be unrewarding as well, even though they get much longer and much more difficult. I've been watching videos of players of Lv32~35 range doing Cerberus Nest and it takes far longer than Minotaur Nest.

They're also talking as if the game is riddled with bugs that require fixing which is delaying the content from coming in. Their tin can servers held together by paperclips and chewing gum are the only problems players are encountering at any given time, not in-game bugs.

raizoo Wrote:The thing with Inquisitors you have to remember is that you're either going DPS or hybrid.

If you like to party with randoms, they'd rather get a Priest.

By Hybrid do you mean DPS/Support? Do Saints do anything else other than Support? Or do they have options like Support or Hybrid?

Original Dragon Nest Thread - Hana - 2011-08-30

TheTempest Wrote:By Hybrid do you mean DPS/Support? Do Saints do anything else other than Support? Or do they have options like Support or Hybrid?

By going hybrid, raizoo means you put points enough to get your ultimate plus adding points to support relics and party buffs (i.e. Protection Shell and Blessings of Strikes). A DPS build means you maximize your attack skills (i.e. Chain Lightning, Detonate, etc) and giving up support relics.

Saints could go DPS, but the class itself is not meant to be DPS.
Saints = MS Bishops

Original Dragon Nest Thread - Kaasoljoyyx - 2011-08-30

With the knowledge of only 3 skills for 3rd job, saints should go on full support. You're meant to tank and do residual damage through relics/electrocuting things, although not much. Your HP should be given top priority and then INT/magic second.

If you want to be "an attacking bishop (maple)", then go inquisitor.

Original Dragon Nest Thread - TheTempest - 2011-08-30

I think I'm a go with a Hybrid Inquisitor. Also Hana, I saw your build for your Inquisitor and read more into Inquisitors. Now I sort of have an idea of what to do. Is there an SP cap as to how much SP you can use on your 1st/2nd/3rd advancements?

EDIT: One thing I forgot to ask, can we take points off the skills, for free, incase we messed the build up or is it like Maplestory where we need to use NX to reset some points?

312 for each adv.

I'm using this build for PvE. The only change I made from the one you read is taking one point off Lightning Bolt and added Block.

Hybrid:

DPS (Need opinions/suggestions):

I will make adjustments if I find First Aid to be beneficial. I need to do more research on that skill.

I gave up on dragonnest, there's too many clear signs of mismanagement that maple is going through now. I'm dropping nexon all together lol

Original Dragon Nest Thread - Alilatias - 2011-08-30

Argh, guys, Aura of Healing is one of those rare cases where the effect increase (heal amount) is better than cooldown reduction!

*sees nothing but superb aura cooldown reduction plates and rages*

Original Dragon Nest Thread - Hana - 2011-08-30

Lolz, Gerrant is smart enough to turn AoH plates into heal %. I see a few heal % with 1 CD in our MP.

I'm just QQing about how even magic grade AoH heal % is expensive =(

Original Dragon Nest Thread - raizoo - 2011-08-30

Epic skill plates could change.... just no clear sign at lvl50 yet. ;<

Also, even Priests are awesome at lvl50 with dat relic spam.

*had found my own magic grade AoH* >_>

Come to think of it, does Unique gear even exist in this game yet? I'm under the impression that there isn't any yet, but who knows... *half-expecting Nexon to release Unique plates in the future*

Agreed. I'm waiting for Guild Wars 2 to come out; it's supposedly extremely similar to Dragon Nest. That and a micro-transaction system will also eventually reduce this game into another Maple, and I already have one of those.

Pineapples finally has a guild emblem. xd. (the transparency of the leaf looks cruddy on the site but it's fine in-game)

There is one in Sea, but it's a quest item (Baralika the Hurricane). Unique plates are comming out? I hope it's not for skills.

@Jon:
Thank you! I can donate for part of the emblem cost.

Oh, that's right. We have that quest too, don't we?

About the plates, I'm just saying that I wouldn't be surprised if Nexon makes some in the future.

I refuse to believe Pineapples didn't have a total of over 100g for this long.

It's alright, someone else paid for it haha.

We did, I just never got around to it. :x

I believe I recall Jon saying that it wasn't worth buying one, but seeing how the value of gold now is near non existent, 100 gold pretty much equates to giving a person a mil in MS.
