I have used a controller for years and years in every localization I have played so far, and was only forced to use a keyboard during the Alpha. If you tweak the controls with something like Xpadder, it takes it to an entirely new level. I highly recommend at least borrowing a controller from a friend and testing it out. I just bought the DualShock 4 controller JUST for DFOG.

I have a DS3 and DS4 and been using them for random steam games for a few years now. Just didn't have access to the option during Nexon's era. Will definitely try it out when Beta starts.

Oh, I'm positive it won't be here until later in March, but I'm at least expecting some new info from Neople around the first of March, possibly even notice of an extension. Transparency is usually a good thing. *cough*NexonNA*cough*
In the meantime, I started playing CDnF again with my new controller. It's so sexy now that I got the bluetooth functioning and I can run dungeons from the comfort of my bed.

My hype got contained due to the long wait time. As they say, when you hype something and wait too long, the hype starts dying down and people begin moving onto other things to occupy their attention.
Also as the others say, I want to see what else there is for our version of DNF before I get back into the game with a renewed inner flame. Free SP reset is already amazing. The second thing is just how many people are going to be playing the game in the Beta. If there's enough attention, the game's going to be here to stay. If not enough attention is gained, then I fear the game will have trouble staying afloat and I don't want to play the game more than just very casually (aka not give loads of money to Neople).

I am worried. It is taking way too long, even the most hardcore player could very well have moved on several times by now.
And looking at their FB:ing they haven't gotten the first clue about how to actually market the game. Their posts almost never touch the actual game or their progress. And seeing as how March is almost here, I doubt they will manage to up their efforts to drag in new people.
My guess is that they are banking on the cult status of the game alone to get them players, which is dangerous when they even stated themselves that the Alpha was not really meeting the expectations.
I'll be there for the reoppening for sure, but I'll leave my wallet out of it for the foreseeable future.

Every time I'm checking their feeds, about some update the Korean server got, people always speculate that if it would reach the new DFO all the time, which isn't a good sign to me either. I really want a clear notion on where this game will take us, something concrete. Too busy focusing on other servers that I haven't seen any attempt of advertising itself to newer players like me and many others.

I've been really busy between work and moving across town, so I haven't had a chance to do much concerning DFOG. I've been enjoying MMech on CDnF immensely. I haven't lost any hype for the game, and we have an ENTIRE month for a possible launch date for CBT, so I'm not gonna stress on the exact date, as long as they either release it in March or are transparent with their plans if they are indeed running behind (they likely are). Super excited to see what happens between now and tomorrow, however. I'm definitely hyped up for some news on progress on the game, at least.
