Yup, finished with Xenon since I got the level 3 link skill. It was pretty fun to play but I wouldn't want to make it my main character.

that's a cygnus soul infused weapon.
that key combo after 1000 kills has a summon of empress following you and doing a lot of % to monsters for a period of time

it floats there because it's ready to be used.. i really want the soul weapon event to come here so i can get a PB soul

max's blog talks about it in very good detail here.

all bosses drop soul pieces, but souls exist for only: cygnus, pink bean, von leon, ani, mu gong, balrog, hoblin king, soul of rock, dragon rider
i may have forgotten one or two, my memory isn't that great with this.

there's also good reason to keep it charged; the attack/magic attack of the weapon will increase as the soul gauge goes up.

Not bad at all! I do wonder when they will get to nerfing Asura, it is just way too powerful compared to like 99% of the other hyper actives.

Well.. Dual Blade revamp teased in Inkwell's Diary, maybe they'll do a full overhaul instead of a few %damage tweaks (like they planned with Battle Mage). I'm expecting changes to Final Cut, I don't think Asura is overpowered (maybe ignoring 100% of defence is a bit much, especially considering PDR is multiplicative), but +60% multiplicative damage is quite an unfair boost.

Well, [MENTION=2375]Mazz[/MENTION]; 's awesome, along with the RED revamp, has inspired my to revive my dual blader that hasn't been touched since pre-big bang. I quit mainly because DB's play style was entirely reliant on jump attacking(back then), and I hated it, that changed a while ago but I never felt like giving it a try.

But anyway, this is just with my specs/top/bottom that all my thieves use, and my link skills(and some tempest and crap I've gotten over the years) :

To me it seems average - decent for your level. I wouldn't worry too much about damage range at least until you have your core skills maxed (around lv 160 I believe). As long as you can train and boss effectively then it should be fine.

Sweet, to be sure, which skills should be maxed first, or rather, what order? I've 20 FC, 30 BF, 1 PB, 13 mastery, 5 in sharpness and thorns, and 1 in everything else in 4th. I quit pre-BB, so I had a bunch of points and tossed them around, picking up books like PB and various mastery books whenever. SP reset is coming, so I can fix them up later if needed.

Finish maxing Final Cut, then Sharpness, then Mastery, then Thorns, then Toxic Venom, and after that start working on Phantom Blow, level 1 should be good enough for now though. Final Cut is pretty much the biggest boost in damage you'll get, I'd suggest start collecting all the circulators/medal of honour you find and if you get lucky you'll be able to land 19/32% buff duration which is a huuuge help for Final Cut too.

PS. is that an Explorer's Critical Ring? I wish I could move mine to my DB, it's stuck on my Shadower Sad
