I think the point is, nintendo of America has registered the domain. 3DS discussion with Tokyo Gameshow Tidbits: Ace Vs. Oh wait. 3DS discussion with Tokyo Gameshow Tidbits: Ace Vs. Layton - Kirov - 2012-04-27 So this is what Nintendo said about Fire Emblem today. Quote:regarding Fire Emblem Kakusei (Japanese title), which was released last week in Japan, its initial sales figure reached the record-high in the series since the GameBoy Advance and we have received a lot of messages from the Club Nintendo members that they bought a game from the series after a long interval. Although we have not decided on a plan to release it overseas, we hope to further increase its sales. They also discussed their plan to sell download codes in retail stores for the eShop and Wii U. I'm all for the idea since it will remove the fixed pricing of the eShop. They will also start selling full 3DS titles in the eShop starting with NSMB2 and all Wii U games will be available to download digitally at launch. Now if only they would start linking downloads to accounts rather than hardware. Nintendos view on DLC Quote:First, we clearly distinguish digital distribution of packaged software from add-on content and, when it comes to making packaged software digitally available, we do not intend to offer any products that the consumers deem incomplete. Second, we sell add-on content so that the consumers can play a software title for even longer and on a deeper level and, when we sell this add-on content, we are making a proposal to consumers to pay for the content our developers have additionally created. In other words, as we have repeatedly confirmed, Nintendo has never conducted and will never conduct what is now widely known (in Japan) as a gacha-type charging business (capsule toy vending machine business), which asks consumers to pay money without knowing what kind of item shall emerge as a result of their payment, even if such a business model might temporarily yield high profitability. Nintendo does not believe such a business model can establish long-lasting relationships with our consumers. We hope that everyone understands our policy, and we will continue to make efforts to avoid such misunderstandings as, the next Animal Crossing might be a game which relies upon add-on content sales.tl;dr We're not Capcom. Worth a read: Source 3DS discussion with Tokyo Gameshow Tidbits: Ace Vs. Layton - Lozmaster - 2012-04-27 Eh, full retail games as a download are ok.... I don't think I'll be using it though, I dislike games being tied to my handhelds where my siblings can't play them (as opposed to just letting them borrow the gamecard) 3DS discussion with Tokyo Gameshow Tidbits: Ace Vs. Layton - Sarah - 2012-04-30 To anyone who has Tales of the Abyss 3D Did the ugly font not make you kind of sick? It's REALLY bad. Especially considering how nice the PS2's font looked... 3DS discussion with Tokyo Gameshow Tidbits: Ace Vs. Layton - Scaeva - 2012-05-01 Sarah Wrote:To anyone who has Tales of the Abyss 3D It didn't really bother me once I got used to it. What still annoys me is how the damage numbers and such look. They just don't scale properly. 3DS discussion with Tokyo Gameshow Tidbits: Ace Vs. Layton - Kirov - 2012-05-11 So Nintendo of Japan have announced that they will stop the production of the Aqua Blue 3DS but gave no reason why. Perhaps it wasnt a good seller compared to the rest? Maybe other regions will see certain 3DS models discontinued as well? 3DS discussion with Tokyo Gameshow Tidbits: Ace Vs. It's the little / extra things that always get me. A reason why I try to always get CEs on games if possible. 3DS discussion with Tokyo Gameshow Tidbits: Ace Vs. Eh..I was expecting actual english gameplay!!!! but they still had the jap game play.. and why does Sora sound so high pitched..?? Somehow some of the voices from the other characters are off too..I mean I get that time has passed but wow Riku still sounds the same, and Xemnas still sounds like a badass in my book. Also some of the translations from jap.->eng. are kind of weird.. (Mickey asking to go help riku/sora? Uhmm.. your the King why do you have to ask lol) and hopefully the voices mesh better with the mouth movement otherwise I will be highly disappointed... :/ Overall I rather have waited till E3 or when the actual game comes out..cause this trailer discourages me Maybe I just havent heard the English VA's in a while so I'm being to critical lol..
3DS discussion with Tokyo Gameshow Tidbits: Ace Vs. Layton - Herbert Jablonski - 2012-05-15 Welp, I finally bought a 3DS a few days ago. Took this dumb pointless picture for y'all. ![]() My Mega Man X figure is ridiculously low-quality and it hid that fact pretty darn well. Now I just have to get some more games for it. Kid Icarus will probably be my first priority. |
