Calculated that in the past 48 hours I've had about two bottles of wine between 8 glasses worth. Pretty good Thanksgiving, but I'm ready to move on into the holiday season. Heading to Michigan Avenue in Chicago tomorrow to try on some of fashion's best.

Had a great Thanksgiving, even with the lack of family. Went to Cracker Barrel with mom for their turkey dinner and then went to Walmart with friends at midnight for early Black Friday shopping. I didn't get anything :p.

I worked both yesterday and today and I open tomorrow. Oh my pineappleing god I'm tired but I will survive. No big deal but today marks six weeks of something kinda important to me now. :3
Also, my manager mentioned that in the future I will probably be considered for closing manager. :o

So after working my ass off on all the crazy sales we had, doing my best and not dying, I'm getting my hours cut a bit.
I am not happy. In other unrelated news my friend was cuddling with me while we watched Harry Potter today.....very awkward situation seeing as he's "asexual."

Mother fucking public transportation stops before the mall's ungodly closing hours of Black Friday weekend, so yours truly needed to take a $20 cab home from work. EXACTLY how I planned on spending a good couple hours of my pay. Thank god I'm starting a new job two weeks from today. #sooverthis
In other news, holyfuckingshit will the next two and a half weeks be insane. Still so much work to do in said time before classes officially end and we move into finals, and on top of that I have articles to write, aforementioned job switch, and an extracurricular position switch. As excited as I was for this Thanksgiving break, it didn't really feel like a break, so I'm ready for the next few weeks to be over. Christmas break come soon please.
Though I'll be home for a week then and don't really care too much about home anymore. I don't know. Life is just weird right now. Looking for the time to sit down with myself and sort things out.

Opening on a sunday, almost as bad as closing on a sunday. It's even worse when your head cashier decides she wants to take two fifteeens when the back up floor people have only taken their mandatory lunch all day, oh and she takes them right before we're suppose to clock out. Just a little rant there. They let the new guy know he was gone today, a bit upsetting but I have no time for lazy people.
One good thing is my managers continue to let me know how glad they are with how hard I work. So I guess it's paying off in the end, I have tomorrow off. I survived the worst weekend in retail, booya.

Had one of the best weekends I've had in a long, long time. Some events that occurred may be life changing for me, but time will tell. Maybe my life can get back on track now.

I'm tired of all this traveling. It's not the good kind of traveling, it's the same old, same old 3 hour commute to a different town every single week.
On the positive side, I've been cleared to go back to school next fall.

Just a little update to my earlier post: My fiance and I are back together, though we've decided to cool things off for now and prolong the length of the engagement and not rush into a wedding. I'd prefer to have more money saved up, and quite frankly, to be a little more mature than I am now. With the pressures of college and work building up I just didn't have the time to plan a wedding at the same time. Amidst all of that my family woes were coming to the surface even after I'd though I'd shot it down and buried it to never surface again. Family sucks.
As for more recent days, I had an exceptional Thanksgiving and am somehow pulling off straight A's by the grace of God. Work has slowed down a bit, though that is a bit of an up and a down side. If my volume of work is slowing down that means the shop is. Which means I'll probably have to start working on re-scheduling/cutting people's hours which is never fun...somehow it doesn't feel right when you know that their very existence is dependent upon you. Moral dilemmas suck.

Registered for classes starting in January. Yea, I'm going back to school. Something must be wrong with me to be taking 16 credits of classes, planning a wedding, trying to get a job and having 2 major surgeries after the beginning of the year, one of which is on my back (near my neck). Ohhh yea I'm on crack!
Also, Had some pre-surgical testing for my surgery on Friday.

Yesterday was awesome, Got a gang of chores done, a good exercise in, got out to see a few friends. Then Scored a date with a girl I really wanted to date for this friday. It was amazing.
