I think that the attack won't have hurt Tsunade. I don't see what the point would be of "I HAVE THE GREATEST HEALING SKILLS EVER" speech if she didn't even heal a wound in the fight.

I doubt she will die right away, but considering how powerful Madara is, even her crystal can't withstand his attacks forever.

I gotta admit, we have expected Tsunade to die ever since the fight against Pain, yet when I saw her stabbed I felt a little sad, then I remembered she can regenerate herself while on that mode.
Considering Madara knows nothing about her jutsu he prolly will drop her aside thinking she's done for and she will come back to kick his but (and then she gets kicked again)

Just because Naruto and Sasuke are on opposite sides of a bloodfued that has gone back generations doesn't necessarily mean that they will double team Madara. It depends on if Sasuke lets Itachi end the Edo Tensi or not. If he does, then he won't get the chance to fight Madara with Naruto. If he doesn't, then I guess he feels like killing his brother again and then he either has to kill Kabuto or make him end the Edo Tensi himself. Not really sure what Sasuke wants from all this besides the destruction of Konoha and Naruto.

I agree with you, but Naruto doesn't exactly need more credibility to become Hokage. He's saved the Leaf Village like 1,000,000 times already.

It was mostly just pain and even then everyone still had to rebuild everything. Without naruto in the war every single squad between every single alliance army would have been f'ucked and a LOT more people (that aren't relevant to the story) would die. That alone makes him the best candidate, and his position is raised even more so when you consider his role in actually ending the war, regardless what that role ends up being. (whether he ends tobi, works with sasuke to end madara/kabuto, or something involving the tailed beasts)

I was actually refering to Tobi, I still don't get over calling him Madara sometimes. It has always seemed obvious to me that Naruto wont kill Sasuke and somehow manage to bring him back to his sense, thus proving people can break the hatred chains with a strong will. Then they both have to fight the total main villain, which could be even Kabuto at this point considering how many secrets he holds. Although in the end, IDK what'd be of Sasuke, I doubt he'd just go back to Konoha and live happily ever after.
