Diablo III: Reaper of Souls - Dark Link - 2014-05-15 Summary of what's being discussed within the Diablo Anniversary twitch stream http://www.diablofans.com/news/48072-anniversary-dev-stream-highlights-clarifications Confirms one thing that I'm pretty sure a lot of people were assuming to be the case. Quote:The Anniversary buff does not affect Kadala's loot Diablo III: Reaper of Souls - JoeTang - 2014-05-16
Spoiler
So this just pineappleing happened. Rolled Vitality of course too. If it had Crit damage or chance, I could at least put it on my Barbarian when he gets to 70. But for it to drop and smart loot for a Crusader... I can speedrun T2 though so that's nice... Diablo III: Reaper of Souls - Shidoshi - 2014-05-16 I've already found a poorly rolled Frostburns, I think from Kadala. Went straight to salvage, no way of saving it. Started using my Tall Man's Finger, even if it has poor rolls. My dogs went from 5 x 1m hits to 1 x 20m and much less of a clutter of pets trying to attack enemies. He goes up to 40m hits with BBV. Pretty amazing. Diablo III: Reaper of Souls - dowie - 2014-05-16 That's nuts and aamazing Diablo III: Reaper of Souls - Dark Link - 2014-05-16 Newest amount of hotfixes that went live I'm assuming they'll address the other ground effects as well and not just Plagued. Quote:[LIVE HOTFIXES] Diablo III: Reaper of Souls - JoeTang - 2014-05-16 Quote:Hello, Wizards! Quote:Currently, fetishes summoned through the Fetish Sycophant passive are replacing the oldest fetishes, and that includes those summoned by Fetish Army. Normally this wouldn't be a problem, except that many Witch Doctors now have very powerful fetishes being summoned through Fetish Army, and those bonuses do not apply to fetishes summoned through the passive (as noted in the quote!). The good news, though, is that this is a bug that we intend to fix in patch 2.1. Quote:The animations between the male and female Barbarian for Leap is something that's been different for quite some time, since the original Diablo III release in fact. Of course, the difference wasn't very noticeable as, at the time, you couldn't Leap multiple times back to back. Really cool nerfs a lot of people have to live with til late June~July. In other news, I found a Thundergod's Vigor on my Witch Doctor that rolled INT. Such loot. Much smart. Very viable. (And yes, I know it rolled for a Wizard) Diablo III: Reaper of Souls - Polantaris - 2014-05-16 I hate how they acknowledge a bug and pass off, "We won't be fixing this for a few months, too bad," as, "Hey we have some amazing news! EVENTUALLY, we'll get around to fixing it!" Edit: Okay there's definitely something wrong with the Plagued affix... I don't think the pools expire until the entire group is dead. Just ran into two packs at once with it, and the ENTIRE map was Plagued pools. For the entire fight (about 2-3 minutes long). Then when I finally killed one leader (was trying not to die), half of them disappeared immediately. The other half disappeared when the second pack was killed. That definitely didn't happen pre 2.0.5. Diablo III: Reaper of Souls - TugboatWilly - 2014-05-16 I noticed that plagued pool stuff earlier too. ![]() I found a The Mortal Drama on my Crusader earlier but missing main stat, low damage roll, AND no socket.
Diablo III: Reaper of Souls - PennyPacker - 2014-05-16 ![]() Found this on my WD. Might have to dust off the old demon hunter. Diablo III: Reaper of Souls - TugboatWilly - 2014-05-18 This "nice" anniversary buff and I've found maybe 2 upgrades across all my characters.
Diablo III: Reaper of Souls - Dark Link - 2014-05-18 Least you'll have a billion Forgotten Souls to use for the Mystic for when the "Ladder / Season legendaries" come out. Diablo III: Reaper of Souls - happylight - 2014-05-18 Dark Link Wrote:Least you'll have a billion Forgotten Souls to use for the Mystic for when the "Ladder / Season legendaries" come out. Isn't the whole point of ladders that you start from scratch? Diablo III: Reaper of Souls - Shidoshi - 2014-05-18 I think someone will be jealous.

Yes, but when the ladder / season ends, the legendaries will move over to your non-ladder characters. Diablo III: Reaper of Souls - TugboatWilly - 2014-05-18 Got these a bit ago from a rift boss on my Crusader. Low STR roll but I'm happy. Just need to reroll for critical damage. ![]()
Diablo III: Reaper of Souls - Dark Link - 2014-05-18 More info from the Anniversary stream was revealed. http://www.diablofans.com/news/48075-more-info-from-the-anniversary-dev-stream-gambling Quote:Legendary items with elemental damage % are supposed to be flavorful, having a Cindercoat for every element is not happening REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP. Diablo III: Reaper of Souls - TugboatWilly - 2014-05-18 Found a Witching Hour on my Crusader. ![]()

Diablo III: Reaper of Souls - Dark Link - 2014-05-19 Zelkova Target has Diablo 3 on sale. Base game for $20 and Expansion for $30. Diablo III: Reaper of Souls - Zelkova - 2014-05-19 Dark Link Wrote:Zelkova Damn. I bought the game + expansion for 60 dollars total on battle.net. When you purchase the base game it gives you the option to buy reaper of souls for 20 bucks. Diablo III: Reaper of Souls - JoeTang - 2014-05-19 Just solo'd my first Torment VI rift. Took 40 minutes or so. Extremely tedious. Got one legendary out of it from a chest. Gonna go back to speed clearing T3 on my Crusader since Hammers are so bullpomegranate now. ![]() Not particularly good (i.e. lower DPS than my current, and less toughness without the legendary effect), but not bad either. Probably something I'd switch to for speed running if I needed the range for Grave Injustice. Luckily, Rift Guardian was Bone Warlock who basically just does nothing. Horrify is absolutely broken. Wasted all my Forgotten Souls trying to enchant my shoulders for 8% CDR and only got up to 6% from 5%. INT rolls on them aren't that great to begin with, but I tried like six or seven crafts to get them to roll with INT to begin with. Gonna end up trying to craft new ones now since it costs so much to reroll, but I need MOAR SOLES. ![]() My older pair had Resource Reduction, and I really feel the difference without it, but at the same time, the difference for Horrify is immense. I was considering rerolling the Mana Regen off my Mojo to Cooldown Reduction as well, but since I'm already feeling the mana cost, I'm not too sure about that. Point is a bit moot when I kill even one thing with Grave Injustice, but if I can take that off my bar and get something else, maybe... It was really iffy depending on a single kill at the start of an elite fight and it caused me to die a few times. The Grin Reaper is probably Best in Slot for non-pet builds now. That CDR roll plus socket, plus one random you can reroll for crit chance. Either way, the Legendary effect scales really well even if you don't need the cooldown. I'd expect this to be nerfed, probably in 2.1.0 if it gains a lot of popularity, but I would recommend any Witch Doctor to run Horrify and take Spirit Vessel passive plus 17%+ Cooldown Reduction. You'll have 100% lockdown on anything that isn't an Act Boss or Guardian. If you use Frightening Aspect as well, you'll have +100% Armor with 100% uptime too, and since it lasts 8 seconds, the buff icon is the perfect counter for refreshing and knowing if you're about to end compared to the cooldown counter. The only downside to Horrify is if it hits an enemy, that's considered entering combat and it breaks Fierce Loyalty, slowing you down. Stalker can compensate this, but its uptime is 50% for the same speed, but sometimes you can have both active. |
