Anyone have any good tips for increasing style in solo play? There's no problem getting it with a party, but trying to get past 50% style soloing is just hard for me. I'm comboing and all that stuff. What exactly do we do for style points?

Another thing...

100-hit combo = +60 Style Points
1000-hit combo = +60 Style Points

Don't abuse one thing or another until you get the points. Then you can do it again for more points =P

Also, you're not going to get 100% style points if all you ever did was combo or aerials. Or both for that matter. But it's much better scoring points in as many ways as possible than just one way.

Is it possible to get 100% style/tech? I don't think I have seen anything over 87%. And I have no idea how I did 87% that time, usually capped at 85% :f6:

For some reason, in this recent patch, they somehow capped the percentages; I've only been able to get over them solo. In party, my style caps at 85%, tech at 57%.

I hate myself now. I bought a pair of Million Deadshot Shoes without realizing that I already had a pair of Shadow Veil Shoes in my inventory, which are better than the Deadshot ones. Anyone want the Deadshot Shoes (Leather) for cheap? :|

To break 57% tech, you need to overkill (a LOT harder to do on Master/King). Idk where the problem is for Style, I haven't fixed that one for myself yet either.

And those of you 32+, how long did it take you to get the necklace from the boss of 1st Spine? I've ran at least 7 King's now and I haven't gotten it yet.

To get 100% on Style, you need Doubles, Triples, etc. Only possible for a Summoner on Solo, as far as I know, unless you get lucky with your %chance to summon equipment or monsters throwing crap.

Party combos bra. I've managed to score a few points on that when Hammer Kicking masses of enemies (enemies launched from Hammer Kick can deal damage to any enemies behind it). But those were fluke moments.

Screeny of a 98% tech finish. You gotta diversify your points or you'll never break the caps.

Necklace? I assume you mean High Cleric Noctnus's thingy? I got it on my first try. If all you ever did was run with people on King's, then it's quite likely that they took what you needed.

EDIT: Yeah I still have the coat. It's going to be 200k though since I've not seen it in the FM for four days straight. I've also noticed that certain pieces of equipment are more rare than others, even if the equipment being compared are part of the same set.

Oh, and another thing... the coat is lvl 40. Equipment of the same set can be 5 lvls apart from each other. So while the shoes might be lvl 35 (I don't know this for a fact), the coat might be of a different lvl.

Considering you ripped that straight from Nexon's website and that it's 0/140 points, I think that's void.

EDIT: The screeny I THOUGHT it was apparently wasn't in the place where I thought it would be. I do remember seeing a botched screeny on the website though... =/

w00t, got my GBL Arad Branch normal and Expert quests done with help from Kajiti. Kajiti, Felix, up for some Master's runs tomorrow? PM me on SP IRC if you want to and I'm not on. I really hope there aren't any King's quests.

One more level until I can use those new potions. I just got ice grenade; dual-wielding grenade time! If I had room on my hotkeys, I could even triple-wield. I didn't realize until now that I could have held flashbangs and buster grenades at the same time. ._.
