It is actually pretty commendable that it took them a whole 30 mins to discover him, considering the whole continent was watching the event. I'm pretty sure Meredy would do just fine running common jobs.

I reread some chapters looking for the part Gerard was found out (and remembered he only got found out because Doranbolt knows Mystogan doesn't exist in earthland), and found a few loose links along...

Jura worked it out before then, and the council weren't even paying attention until the day where Doranbolt turned up. Ultear also made it clear that his magic would have given him away to everyone if she hadn't stopped him being a idiot.

Still irks me how the guild still can't beat a derpy bunch of treasure hunters in one hit. Especially since their skills are basically item based. But then again, plot.
I would have understood if they all turned into little kids like how erza did and they all THEN fought the treasure guys, but They friggin won the Magic games, defeating some of the hardest, most badass people in the world and somehow even their weak-moderate attacks can't do anything against a mere magic item user. I guess we'll see.

Rara isn't especially skilled, and Natsu is stupid for letting Rara hit him with that giant hand. Hiroshi looks a bit more skilled. The FT side isn't losing. Like you said, they're only using weak-moderate attacks. Hiroshi's sword smashed a tree to pierces with just the shockwave of its expansion. That's probably the same amount of damage FT's weak-moderate attacks would do. I think Drake has already shown how skilled he is by shooting down an arrow in mid-flight that was flying in a straight trajectory. Like Natsu said, they're actually pretty strong, despite acting and looking a bit derpy. Also, Sagittarius hasn't ever really impressed us, but did his just arrow just stop a bullet?!

They just got pushed back on their first attack because they thought the enemy was weak and walked in not taking them seriously, then getting repelled. Have patience, they should be defeated next chapter, if not, then we can all complain.
The flame is the whole montain that Erza climbed... or at least the peak they showed behind the 2 sentinels.
I also thought of Ultear when I saw Erza turn into a kid, however, even though Gray should be completely willing to, I doubt anyone will take their time to bring her there (if they can even find her that is). That and these effects will probably vanish once they solve the riddles.

I don't think there are many clues as to who it is yet. Maybe it's a fire dragon (atlas flame?). An "eternal flame" could easily be coming from a strong fire dragon like him.

1 - Erza vs Minerva seems like a total rape from Minerva, but if Erza could beat the cr@p out of her with a broken leg and cut all over I wouldn't put it pass her to defeat her in child form.
2 - Ehm... Flare showing up there was so random. If she is not part from FairyTail what the heck is she doing there at all?.

Flare appearance kinda remind me of when Juvia appear to save Lucy the first time in the tower.

I pretty much stopped applying logic to these fights when the gang beat Purehito. I love love love this series, but the power scaling just doesn't make sense to me sometimes. I guess the only way Erza can win this is if she uses her wits.

It's not the same : Juvia travelled with the group (knowingly) to the holiday location when Loki gave them the tickets. Everyone (including the readers) knew Juvia was there, and she never appeared out of anywhere in the tower. In fact, they only even entered the tower because juvias magic let them swim underwater to get in.

If you think about it in the sense of another mechanic for their powers to grow it could be pretty easy actually. Their powers are being unfocused so if they can beat them by increasing the mastery they have over their magic, they'll become vastly more powerful once it wears off.

I just can't overlook what Flare has done in the past.
It's not that it was unforgivable, but that she has done almost nothing to amend or atone for it.
On top of that, nothing has been revealed to justify what she has done (and "Raven Tail forced her" is definitely not one of them).

She's no worse than Gajeel was.
"and Raven tail physically beat it's members for failure" is likely to induce bad behaviour in its members if they're all the person has for a family.

I'm not sure how I feel about this "I'm from this village" thing. Feels like too much of a coincicende/asspull LoL, but I like Flare, she is cute. I wonder if like some say, it was inteded all along giving her name is Flare Corona, words related to the sun.

I expected more from this retrogresion magic. I expectd it to last longer at the very least.
Anyway, if succubus eye is a guild of demons from the underworld then it might be possible Minerva turns good in the future and returns to sabretooth... or she is killed trying.

I think that the retrogression magic is not duration based but is rather tied to the caster. So, if the caster becomes incapacitated in some degree (in this case, turning into a demon), his focus would be broken and the magic would wear off.
