Naricain Pendant's tradability, for the better or for the worse? - Takebacker - 2009-04-07 Judgment Wrote:The only version of MS where this practice is actually forbidden is MapleSEA. I would assume that they wouldn't care about this practice in other versions of MS, given how they haven't made any statements about it like how they did with selling/buying leeching. NXjoeW announced they don't care about the selling of zhelms some years ago. I thought it was SEA were having people holding the squad with AC and then selling off spots on a run. Thats when GM's stepped in and put the ban on the practice. (Unless I read it badly wrong?) Naricain Pendant's tradability, for the better or for the worse? - KatanaKiwi - 2009-04-08 sea forbid the selling of zhelms like 1,5years ago but i dont know if its still forbidden either way i think cwkpq is really a fair pq, you need all classes to get in.. the lower level people can still form a squad and just kill the mage for a pendant.. yea its less then killing all 4 but they could also level a bit and go for 4 later on... everybody can get their pendant, the only difference is that higher leveled can get more per run, but DUH they also put more effort into leveling so its only a bit fair.. also the pendant prices will never really go that high since cwkpq is not as hard as horntail and like said before, the lower leveled can also get theirs for free if the prices go up too high.. Naricain Pendant's tradability, for the better or for the worse? - Orit - 2009-04-08 How many apple'd level 110 ranger/snipers does it take to get through the Archer room? How many level 90+ pirates are there in Kradia? It's not exactly as easy as "the lower level people can still form a squad and just kill the mage for a pendant.." (especially 10 times over, for the whole squad to have pendants). While I agree it's easier than getting your own HTP, I still expect quite a few people to need to buy a pendant (i.e., a spot in a run) if they want to have it before 120 or even later. You don't need Shadowers or Arch Mages because you're probably bringing along 2 NLs/ Bishops already. Naricain Pendant's tradability, for the better or for the worse? - KatanaKiwi - 2009-04-08 i dont know about other servers but in kradia we dont decline shadowers or archmages because they cant be of much use, we just bring them allong because they are friends.. its another case however if they are level 90 and just want to get in to get their pendant after which we wont see them again in the pq .. but yea i guess if you dont have friends at lvl 110 who would allow you to cpq with them then either the server ur in is seriously pineappled up of you just dont have any friends Naricain Pendant's tradability, for the better or for the worse? - LittlePrincess - 2009-04-08 Well I don't see that it matters much. The only difference will be that now people will only buy from "trustworthy" guilds just like z-helms. Whereas before any guild could sell their pendents in the fm and buyers had a garenteed purchase. So of course they'll still be sold just like z-helms. And probably guilds will sell a VIP option for additional mesos, etc. But surviving the pq is easy, just stand on the top platform a little to the left of the middle and you never get hit. So I don't see that bring buyers will create any problems there. Guild probably won't bring buyers to bonous so since getting the buyer to log out may be difficult some guilds will probably require colladrial or use vip only options. But still not different than zak or HT. Getting buyers there might be a problem if nexon actually fixes it so you have to have done the quests to get to the pq or even if they fix it so door doesn't work. But if they did guilds would just charge extra to do the quests for you or provide an escort with smoke for CGs. And I don't get why people were so excited about buying average pendants. o.O So easy to get from the pq. Though I can see why people would pay through the roof for 11 or 12 atk. Naricain Pendant's tradability, for the better or for the worse? - Mark - 2009-04-08 Yeah, now a PQ meant for "fun for everyone" is just another way for pricks of all servers to make more money. Nerf them please. Though I can see why people would pay through the roof for 11 or 12 atk. In Kradia, before the Nexon announcement, the price of an average pendant had dropped below 25m. It probably would have continued to go down as the number of people who'd rather pay than pq went down. Oddly enough, though, when the rare 11att made it to FM, it was only priced 10-15m higher than the 10's. The market is strange that way. (The only 12att I saw in Kradia FM carried a 175m price tag. No idea what it finally sold for). We'll just have to wait and see which servers have a friendly enough community that everybody can get a pendant by running with friends, and which will end up with commercial ventures. He actually got his for free, and for participating in a CWKPQ run. He doesn't make money off of it though, only from Zakum. I would know... I PQ with him, and he Zaks with me, rofl. Whats wrong with making money off the PQ? I made about 400-500m in splits since the PQ came out. Do I get a cookie? Naricain Pendant's tradability, for the better or for the worse? - Greg22 - 2009-04-08 I refuse to change my main character's build for the Naricain, and since I sold the one on my Bucc for quite the profit, obviously this FIX is the the better. Its a bad thing to make money off PQs? Guess we better nerf half the PQs then. Naricain Pendant's tradability, for the better or for the worse? - Shady - 2009-04-08 I never said it was bad to make many from PQs. I thought it was ironic that Opeth used the word ''Pricks'' to descride those people. Read more carefully next time (btw, don't say anything about my gramm@r). Naricain Pendant's tradability, for the better or for the worse? - Kawasari Mimoto - 2009-04-08 But my point was that he is allowed to call them 'pricks' if he didn't 'sell' those pendants, or CWKPQ for his own profit. I hate to defend anybody, but if they're right about something, I have to. He got it for free, like I said. |
